Dame Dash Speaks On Funkmaster Flex Vs. Jay Z (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Funkmaster Flex’s verbal assault on Jay Z had a lot of people offering their opinions on the Hot 97 DJ’s decision to go at the Roc Nation boss. Jay Z’s former business partner Dame Dash was asked about the dispute during an interview with Hip Hop Motivation.

“I just have to say this was the coolest I’ve ever seen Funkmaster Flex, and I don’t know where he got that from,” said Dame. “I thought he was honest… Whatever Hot 97 plays the rest of the country plays. So if there’s a mentality that Hot 97 has – I think there will be a mentality that will follow. So I think the statements that he was making were impactful, because he was implementing a mentality.”

Dash goes on to add he does not believe Jay can respond to Flex, because as a corporate entity Shawn Carter adopted the corporate tactic of not bringing attention to issues that would not put him in a good light. Dame specifically mentioned the allegations Jay had Dipset’s music banned from the 40/40 Club.

“I just think there’d be a lot of questions that haven’t been asked before,” Dame stated. “Now if Jay does an interview they have to ask him, ‘Is it true you don’t let Dipset play in 40/40?’ And if that question is not asked, then it’s phony.”

Did Nicki Sick Thugs On Her Ex?

LOL! I love the idea that every time somebody talks slick, they get checked by some mysterious, overseeing, iron-f##### THUG COLLECTIVE. So, Safaree did a lot of talking and he was pretty clear that he did some of the writing for Nicki Minaj or at least was a part of the collaboration.

Well….weeks later, he has decided to fall allllll the way back off of that. So, yeah. I have no idea if he actually sent the thugs, but he sure changed his tune.

Well in the interview he said that. He’s not changing his statement. He said he was there and he helped with ideas and beat selections. He even went as far to say all artist get help in some way or another.

But I still think he’s down playing his role in her success. He did more than what he’s claiming.

Hunh? Either Suffering is bi polar, a liar, or he now realizes you don’t bite the hand that feeds you! Nobody ran with bs or misconstrued his words. If he is wondering why people are going with “I wrote most of Nikki’s rhymes” statement, he doesn’t have to look further than his interview where he made the allegations!

“I’ve definitely learned how to compromise more which is something you have to understand when you partner with people in business and I’ve learned how to shut up more,” he laughed. “I think I’m a better human being because of her and my daughter. [I have] something for me to not only to be brave for what I want to do for humanity, but also to be more protective of myself for my family, because there’s things I’ve done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people, or for culture, in a way. So now, I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family that I have to protect, too.”

“There were so many things I wanted to do with film with clothing and I just didn’t have the words or the resources or the backing or the perception that I could do it being I was I was a rapper and all these things. ASAP Rocky Talks Grieving ASAP Yams And His Role In The Film, 'Dope'

ASAP Rocky is on an emotional roller coaster. He has a supporting role in the most talked about film at the Sundance Film Festival, Dope, but he also lost his best friend ASAP Yams two weeks ago.

In the midst of his grief he sat down for an interview to discuss how he got the role in Dope, which was recently sold to Open Road Films/Sony.

“I was helping Chanel with her lines, and there was one role where I was like, ‘Oh, this dumb kid, he seems a little interesting. I want to go for it,'” Rocky told The New York Times. “I was actually in London recording my album, and I figured I’d just send a video in. So I sent two videos, and they liked them. And two months later, when I flew to L.A., I met up with Rick and did an audition in front of him, and he just decided to go with me. To be honest with you, I was worried that I didn’t get the role. I was p#####.”

The Harlemnite also spoke about the future of his acting career, saying that he wants to earn his props and not be given roles because of who he is.

“I like sci-fi films. I like action-packed thrillers — with, like, conspiracy theories. If I’m starring in a movie, I just want people to understand that I’m not a celebrity trying to use his status to finagle his way into Hollywood, you know? I really want to start from the bottom.”

Flacko spoke about a few words about Yams as well, who was laid to rest earlier this week.

“I miss him,” he said. “Yams was my Yoda. He’s my brother. He left too soon, but I cherished every moment that I knew him.” He continued “All I can tell you is that A$AP Yams was one of the most influential hip-hop pioneers of today. I have him and Danger Mouse executive chef-ing this mystical magical piece that we call art, my music today.”

Ludacris Gets Full Custody Of His Baby Daughter

Ludacris has been awarded full custody of his young daughter, Cai, a 13-month old child born to Tamika Fuller.

A court deemed the rapper as the more “fit and proper parent” to take care of the child, whose full name is Cai Bella Bridges.

The rapper was immersed in a serious, contentious dispute with Fuller.

“After review of all the evidence, the testimony of the witnesses, the report of the guardian ad litem, and the claims made throughout this entire case, I am gratified that the judge found me to be the most fit and proper parent to have primary physical custody of our beautiful daughter,” Luda told People magazine in a statement.

Fuller revealed that Ludacris, real name Chris Bridges, requested her to get an abortion when they found out she was with child.

“I told him the same day that I found out. He was not happy. He cried. It wasn’t that he wasn’t happy because he did say, ‘This wasn’t something that we planned. Let’s move forward and get an abortion. We’re not going to have a family. The baby is not going to be with the mother and the father in the same house,” she maintained. “This is all bad.’ [He said] it would ruin his life. It’s going to ruin his career.”

The court charged that the damaging and public remarks Fuller made hurt her. She attempted to also get more money from the rapper in the form of child support. She also publicly aired out a lot of the rapper’s professional finances, which was viewed negatively from a judge.

The baby was conceived while Luda was publicly with then-girlfriend Eudoxie, who is now his wife.

He has a 13-year-old daughter named Karma, a teen from another relationship altogether.

Chevy Woods – "Shooters"

Taylor Gang’s Chevy Woods returns with a response to anyone that may have ever disrespected the Taylor Gang’s “Shooters.” While everyone in Taylor Gang smokes heavy, its clear Chevy has no problem bringing out the shooters to handle a problem. Chevy’s always been close to the steets so this is no surprise, but this video packs shots as the visual is a mini movie documenting what happens when you mess with the Taylors.
