Jay Z Says Hip-Hop Has Done A Lot For Racial Relations (VIDEO)

If you ask Jay Z, hip-hop has helped bridge the gap when it comes to race relations.

In a video for the OWN network, Jay gave what he calls his “strong” opinion on the genre’s positive impact on demolishing racism.

“Hip-hop has done more for racial relations than most cultural icons,” Jigga said. “Save Martin Luther King, because his dream speech we realized when President Obama got elected.”

The Brooklynite said that hip-hop’s influence is broad and unrestricted, touching the lives of people from different backgrounds and cultures.

This music didnt’ just influence kids from urban areas, it influenced kids from all around the world.”

Hova went on to say that he believes racism is taught in the home; however, it’s not easy to teach a child to hate a particular race when their favorite rapper is African-American.

“It’s very difficult to teach racism when your kid looks up to Snoop Doggy Dogg,”

Michael Jackson's Son And Justin Bieber Are Working On Music Together

Michael Jackson’s 17-year-old son Prince Jackson is following in his father’s footsteps.

It is reported that he’s teaming up with bad boy Justin Bieber to work on new music. The two both live in the same California neighborhood and share the same mentor, Floyd “Money” Mayweather. A source told the New York Post that the boxing champ is “the driving force” behind  Jackson and Beiber’s secret recording sessions for a “major recording album” that is in the works.

“They really dig one another and Floyd continues to check in with both of them,” the insider said.

Though Bieber is one of music’s biggest pop stars, he doesn’t have the best reputation, which made the source nervous about thier partnership.

“With all of these young girls and Bieber and Mayweather’s influence, we just hope that he doesn’t make a big mistake that he’ll have to pay for the rest of his life.”

50 Cent Posts Jimmy Henchman Court Documents Online; Accuses Him Of Snitching

(AllHipHop News) 50 Cent is not ending his personal vendetta against James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond. The two men have been engaged in a bitter feud for years.

The 50/Henchman beef has even reportedly become violent in the past. G-Unit member Tony Yayo was accused of slapping Henchman’s then teenage son, and Henchman has been convicted for the murder of G-Unit associate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher.

50 is back throwing social media jabs at Jimmy. This time the Queens mogul took to Instagram to once again label Henchman as a snitch. 50 posted Rosemond court documents dated 2000. He wrote in the caption, “Old gangsta jimmy smh LMAO washed up #Jimmy Snitchmen.”

50 Cent IG

Henchman previously denied he worked with the government to imprison other suspects. He said in an interview with Don Diva in November:

Who did I tell on and who is in jail because of me… The government skillfully and systematically went after those around me with the help of individuals like [gangster] Haitian Jack, who is now in the witness protection program and was relocated to the Dominican Republic… All the guys that falsely testified or helped the government in bringing me down… that hurts me. I thought these guys were my friends.

In the same interview, Henchman alleged that 50 was the one scheduled to testify at his murder trial. Henchman’s publicist Sibrena Stowe also told AllHipHop.com in February 2014 that her client had not testified in court against anyone. In response to 50 Cent accusing Henchman of snitching at that time, Stowe said:

Mr. Rosemond never testified in court against anyone and so the term, “snitching” shouldn’t apply to him. I don’t recall this music mogul/rapper or anyone from that camp at the last trial and so the information that he allegedly tweeted is not accurate information.

50 later responded to Henchman’s claims that the “In Da Club” rapper was planning to testify against him. He wrote on Instagram in November:

Old Gangsta Jimmy still talking, he done told everything he could think of .now he making up sh! t LMAO.

Danny Brown To Write Dr. Suess Inspired Children's Book For Black Girls

“It’s really about self-esteem in Black girls, I guess,” said Brown about his writing work. “You know how Black women do so much – process their hair, change their eye color. It’s really about a little girl who does all these things to herself and changes herself, and she realizes she’s just better off the way she is.”

Brown decided to try to tackle the issue of self-esteem/self-love for Black women because of his 13-year-old daughter. He also looked to legendary author Dr. Seuss (How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, The Cat in the Hat) for inspiration.

“I want it to be real ‘Dr. Seuss-y’… I don’t know how Dr. Seuss did it. I don’t know how he wrote The Grinch, Green Eggs And Ham, and One Fish, Blue Fish. What was going on in that guy’s brain to be able to write those things?” Brown questioned. “I think I am Dr. Seuss! I’m The Grinch. I’m all his characters come to life in rap music.”

Danny Brown is currently working on the follow-up to 2013’s Old album. He has already logged in studio time with producers The Alchemist, Paul White and SKYWLKR.

Royce Da 5'9'' Challenges Lord Jamar On His Views About Eminem; Jamar Responds

(AllHipHop News) Lord Jamar has dubbed himself a “Hip Hop conservative,” and at times his viewpoints on the state of the culture, particularly on White artists in Hip Hop, have not always been well received by others. Jamar’s recent assertion that Eminem is not any different from other White performers Macklemore or Justin Timberlake did not sit well with Em’s Bad Meets Evil rhyming partner Royce da 5’9”.

Game Says He & 50 Cent Are "Sworn Enemies"

(AllHipHop News) The question of whether Game would ever reunite with 50 Cent and G-Unit began to be asked once again after most of The Unit reconciled last summer.

The speculation heightened in October after DJ Whoo Kid left a door open to the idea Game could comeback to the fold. That possibility seems to be dead at the moment, because Game made it clear on Instagram that he and 50 are still rivals.

The Shade Room captured a screenshot of a conversation Game had with a fan on IG. After the user dylan_robischon asked about a possible Game/50 concert, the “Hate It Or Love It” rapper wrote back, “we sworn enemies so it ain’t gone happen #SomeS**tJustIsWhatItIsBlood.”

This is not the first time Game has expressed he is not interested in rejoining G-Unit at the moment. At a show in August, he told a crowd “F*ck G-Unit! They can suck my d**k!” But the reality television star has also told DJ Skee to “work that out” when the radio show host questioned him about reconnecting with 50 and G-Unit.
