Police officers pulled over to ensure that everything was okay but ended up having to investigate after they smelled marijuana. During the search, cops and a K-9 found 42 grams of marijuana, 18 grams of Butane Hash Oil and 28 drug paraphernalia items.
There were 12 people on the tour bus and seven of them received citations and December court dates. One of Ty’s reps told TMZ that the “Paranoid” singer was in fact on a flight to Omaha and was not on the bus and did not receive a citation. He is expected to pay a $500 fine.
Kendrick Lamar will be gracing the stage at Saturday Night Live for the third time tomorrow to perform his new track “i” and hopefully star in some skits. Alongside actors Kate McKinnon and Woody Harrelson, K. Dot works his funny bone in the promo as McKinnon mistakes the Compton emcee for Matthew McConaughey and then gets a piggyback ride from Harrelson. Watch the promo below and make sure to tune in Nov. 15th at 11:30 pm on NBC.
(AllHipHop News) It didn’t take long for 50 Cent to get wind of James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond’s latest comments about him. This morning AllHipHop.com published exclusive excerpts from an interview Henchman did with Don Diva magazine where the incarcerated founder of Czar Entertainment addressed 50.
In the article Henchman claimed that he never snitched on anyone. He also said that 50 Cent was actually scheduled to testify against him at his murder trial.
According to Fif, Henchman is not being truthful. The G-Unit boss relayed that message on his Instagram page. 50 posted a photo of Henchman with the caption, “(RAT ALERT) Old Gangsta Jimmy still talking, he done told everything he could think of .now he making up sh! t LMAO.”

(AllHipHop News) Soon after Tyga released his song “Make It Work” which seemed to take veiled shots at Drake, the California native insinuated on Twitter that the track was recorded before the recent riff with Drizzy began. Tyga may be refusing to say that the record included disses directed at Drake, but TMZ is reporting the song’s video will definitely include a subliminal jab at the fellow Young Money rapper.
Tyga got Dollicia Bryan to make an appearance in the video. Bryan happens to be a former girlfriend of Drake. Sources told TMZ that Tyga purposely selected the video vixen for the shoot as a way to p### off his rival, and Bryan knowingly took the job.
Drake + Dollicia
This is apparently the latest round in the feud between the two rap stars. Drake previously brought former flames into the situation when he randomly began liking Instagram photos of Tyga’s ex Blac Chyna. The Toronto emcee later posted a picture to his own IG page of him with Tyga’s rumored current girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
Bryan shared a photo on Instagram from the “Make It Work” video set. The picture features the model being embraced by Tyga. The caption for the pic reads, “#MakeItwork #Tyga @Kinggoldchains #SETLIFE.”
(AllHipHop News) Cash Money co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams is facing a $1 million lien on a Miami mansion according to TheJasmineBrand. The site is reporting that Birdman is being accused of failing to pay the Zankey Construction Company for the work they did on the house.
In legal documents, Zankey claims that the Rich Gang member failed to pay one invoice for $998,700.97 and a second invoice for $43,049.35. They state Birdman owes them a total of $1,041,750.32 for the renovations done to the property.
Birdman reportedly borrowed $5 million to upgrade the house after he bought the waterfront mansion from RockStar energy drink creator Russell W##### for $14.5 million in 2012. The 19,000-square foot home was once owned by Scott Storch, but it was repossessed after the music producer went through financial difficulties. W##### bought the 9-bedroom, 17-bathroom residence for $7 million in 2010.
(AllHipHop News) A lot of female artists in Hip Hop have had to deal with constant questioning on whether they write their own lyrics. That attention on women penning their own words extends to other genres as well. Country/pop singer Taylor Swift addressed what she sees as a double standard when it comes to the lack of scrutiny on male entertainers’ songwriting ability.
Swift spoke with Time for the magazine’s cover story, and the “Shake It Off” performer defended herself and other female entertainers. During the discussion, she brought up two rap stars that have had to deal with accusations they did not write their own material.
And we all know it’s a feminist issue. My friend Ed [Sheeran], no one questions whether he writes everything. In the beginning, I liked to think that we were all on the same playing field. And then it became pretty obvious to me that when you have people sort of questioning the validity of a female songwriter, or making it seem like it’s somehow unacceptable to write songs about your real emotions—that it somehow makes you irrational and overemotional—seeing that over the years changed my view. It’s a little discouraging that females have to work so much harder to prove that they do their own things. I see Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea having to prove that they write their own raps or their own lyrics, and it makes me sad, because they shouldn’t have to justify it.
Recently, the idea of emcees using co-writers became news when one of the culture’s all time greats was honest about getting help for at least one of his classic songs. At a recent concert, Hip Hop legend Nas explained to the crowd why he needed his brother Jungle to provide lines for his Stillmatic track “One Mic.”
Henchman’s most recent media mentions surrounded his murder and conspiracy trial ending in a hung jury earlier this year. The convicted former head of the criminal enterprise known as the “Rosemond Organization” is not cleared of the latest charges just yet. He is scheduled to be retried in 2015 for allegedly orchestrating the killing of G-Unit associate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher. Henchman is also currently serving a life sentence for drug trafficking and weapons possession convictions.
Don Diva spoke with Henchman for the publication’s Issue 55 cover story. In the piece, Rosemond discussed many of the controversial topics connected to his life including allegations that he was a snitch and his thoughts on 50 Cent. The magazine shared exclusive excerpts from the article with AllHipHop.com.
Who did I tell on and who is in jail because of me… The government skillfully and systematically went after those around me with the help of individuals like [gangster] Haitian Jack, who is now in the witness protection program and was relocated to the Dominican Republic. They would arrest [these people] secretly and have them wear wires or tape me. For instance, my accountant John Dash was filing false taxes and defrauding his clients unbeknownst to me. They got him to testify at my drug trial that I never collected cash for my clients while on tour, including Game and Mike Tyson. They also (got a guy who worked for me, named Tony Martin, to say the same thing. This was a total lie… After the family pain, it’s the betrayal that hurts the most. All the guys that falsely testified or helped the government in bringing me down… that hurts me. I thought these guys were my friends: Khalil Abdullah (Craig Woodley), Winston (Winnie) Harris, Henry (Rollin’ 60- Black) Butler, Muhammad (Tef) Stewart, Tony Martin, Freddy Borges and David Hyatt. God Bless them. If any of them were dying of thirst I would have bled from my wrist to save them. That has proven to be my Achilles heel.
Henchman on rival 50 Cent:
One thing for sure is that Curtis [rapper, 50 Cent] was scheduled to testify at my murder trial, but reneged on the prosecutors at the last minute. Clowns do clown things.
Don Diva Issue 55 is now available. The publication recently launched the brand’s website component – dondivamag.com.

UPDATE: 50 Cent has responded to Henchman’s claim. Find out what he said here.
(AllHipHop News) Should Kim Kardashian’s nude pictures in Paper magazine be considered artistic or pornographic? This is a question that many people have been asking ever since the racy photos were released this week. Hip Hop legend Chuck D joined in on that hot topic.
The Public Enemy frontman took the conversation even further by connecting Kim K’s fully naked pictures to art education in the United States. Chuck offered his thoughts on the subject via Twitter.
“Regardless what many of us think, the fact is [Kim Kardashian] has caused a [social media] Earthquake [with] what has always been the art worlds [sic] challenge,” wrote Chuck in one tweet.
He ended his series of tweets by adding, “I put this convo out there because USAers , the [government] controlled education been fumbling the ART agenda out of bounds every [f**king] time #NOART.”
(AllHipHop News) Love & Hip Hop star Erica Mena was recently accused of walking out of $500 bill at New York City’s Bowlmor Chelsea Piers. The story first ran on the gossip website Mediatakeout and then began circulating online.
A representative for Mena contacted AllHipHop.com to relay a message from Bowlmor Chelsea Piers’ general manager Gustavo Zylberberg. He confirmed that the “dine-n-ditch” story is not true, and the reality television star does not owe any money to the establishment.
Zylberberg wrote in an email that the restaurant conducted an investigation into the matter and ordered the person who posted the story on Instagram to remove it. He also offered an apology to Mena for the false accusations.
The original article has since been removed from Mediatakeout.
Famed recorder producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins is celebrating his 20th anniversary in the music business. With the celebration, he’s revealing all kinds of surprises, one in particular is that two Pop superstars, Ariana Grande and Jessie J, will rework Brandy and Monica’s classic 1998 hit “The Boy Is Mine” for his commemorative album. In an interview with Hits Daily Double, Jerkins also stated that another mega vocalist will cover one of Whitney Houston‘s standout songs.
“Sam [Smith] is doing “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” by Whitney Houston, which Sam told me was the song that made him want to sing,” the 37-year-old said. “When I asked him if he’d be a part of this project he was like, “No one else can do that song but me!” Sam’s the truth. He has a great heart and he’s genuine. His music speaks for who he is. This is a project I’m really looking forward to.”
R&B fans surely can’t wait to see what other tracks Jerkins plans to remix and cover from his discography. Flashback to ’98 with “The Boy Is Mine” video below.
With all of the excitement around the upcoming Chris Brown and Trey Songz joint tour (which now also features Tyga) Breezy and Trigga actually turned the hype into an event, announcing their upcoming “Between The Sheets” tour at the House of Blues in Hollywood. The trio warmed up the audience with performances and an on-stage interview in front of a live crowd. They then sat down with Billboard backstage to discuss the tour a little more.
They explained that the tour shows unity amongst artists and black men. “Between The Sheets” is a pretty catchy tour name for their American trek.
“I think it just shows an example of brotherhood, an example of young black men finding a way to work together versus against one another,” explained Trey.
