Chris Brown Addresses Allegations He's A Member Of The Bloods

(AllHipHop News) Talk of Chris Brown being affiliated with a Los Angeles set of the Bloods has been ongoing for months. TMZ just ran a story claiming that the singer’s loved ones were worried a connection to the gang could wind up getting Brown hurt.

CB addressed the allegations himself in an interview with Sway Calloway for MTV. The Virginia native says he does not have any formal association with the Bloods, but he does know gang members because of his profession.

“When you’re in L.A. and you’re around people, you meet everybody. You meet Crips. You meet Bloods,” said Brown. “Especially in this industry that I’m in. I’m not in the country world. I’m not in the all the way pop world. You in Hip Hop.”

Tiny Says Lil Flip Wasn't Ready For War Against T.I.

(AllHipHop News) Back in 2004 Atlanta’s T.I. was involved in a feud with fellow southern rapper Lil Flip. The issues between the two included diss tracks and reported physical altercations. Tip’s wife Tiny was asked about the beef while speaking with VladTV.

“Lil Flip had kinda went out-of-bounds talking about his kids. Things that he was saying was just way out of line,” said Tiny. “Talking about killing some kids. Who kids you gonna kill? That kind of stuff, you just don’t do that. Especially if you ain’t ready for war. And he wasn’t ready.”

Big KRIT To Touch Down In DC Friday, Offers New Album Track List

This Friday, Mississippi’s own, Big K.R.I.T., will be performing in Washington DC this Friday. The southern rapper will be making his second stop at the Howard Theatre for his Pay Attention Tour. The tour name is based off of his latest single featuring Rico Love, and the tour itself serves as a precursor to K.R.I.T. highly anticipated sophomore album, Cadillactica. K.R.I.T. will not be the only one performing in DC though, explosive Atlanta group Two-9 will also be performing as opening acts. With a debut album, 4 mixtapes, and a few tracks from Cadillactica already out, Big K.R.I.T. will have a huge catalogue to perform at the legendary Howard Theatre. Rich Homie Quan’s Father Shot

Photo of Corey Lamar(AllHipHop News) Corey Lamar, the father of rapper Rich Homie Quan, was shot in the barbershop that he owns after men attempted to rob him.

Right now, Lamar was listed in critical condition, but was expected to survive his wounds.
The details are sketchy, but one or more assailants ran into the business and opened fire, striking Quan’s father four times.TMZ reports that Rich Homie Quan and his father’s family members were waiting for him to get out of surgery.

“I ask him for advice – still,” Rich Homie Quan said to BET.com.

AllHipHop wishes Mr. Lamar a speedy recovery.

The League of Young Voters and Cashmere Agency in conjunction with AllHipHop, ThoughtWorks and HandsUp United hosted an intimate breakfast called, No Guns Allowed: Fallout from Ferguson in Atlanta during BET Hip-Hop Awards weekend. Moderated by Dr. Robert “Biko” Baker, Executive Director of the League of Young Voters, the conversation focused on gun violence solutions and was a response to the unrest in our nation stemmed from Michael Brown and Ferguson.

Participants include: Snoop Dogg, Ferguson youth group Lost Voices, CEO of AllHipHop Chuck Creekmur, St. Louis Rapper & Activist Tef Poe and Lucia McBath, mother of slain Florida teen Jordan Davis and National Spokesperson for Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense in America. Michael Brown’s family and supporters were also in attendance.

A woman apparently attempted to steal a kiss from the R&B star while he was appearing at Limelight Houston on Saturday, and Brown pushed the overzealous lady back. Video of the moment has now made its way to the internet.

This is the latest incident involving a celebrity having to deal with a stranger making unwanted physical contact. Last week Kim Kardashian was grabbed by a man in Paris after she got out of her car. Kim K’s security was able to protect her from being harmed.

"Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" Star Mally Mall’s Las Vegas Home & Business Raided By The FBI

(AllHipHop News) Producer and Love and Hip Hop Hollywood star Jamal “Mally Mal” Rashid’s home was raided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation today according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The FBI’s public corruption squad searched Rashid’s Las Vegas Valley house and his Las Vegas Concierge escort service in an investigation supposedly surrounding human trafficking.

Witnesses say a police helicopter landed in Mal’s front yard and an FBI armored vehicle knocked down the front gate to the residence. Clark County animal control officers were also on hand at the time. Mal is known to own several exotic animals. No arrests were made.

Mall has worked with rap stars like Drake, 50 Cent, Tyga, French Montana, Pusha T, Snoop Dogg, and Chris Brown. He is the owner of Mally Mall Music.

Kevin Durant Addresses "Lil B Curse"

(AllHipHop News) There have been comments on the internet that NBA star Kevin Durant is a victim of the curse of rapper Lil B. Back in 2011, Durant sent out a tweet where he stated “I tried to listen to Lil B, but my mind wouldn’t let me do it…can’t believe this guy is relevant.”

The Based God’s followers went in on Durant, and if you let conspiracy theorists tell it, KD’s lack of a championship is the result of some sort of hex.

The reigning league MVP was asked about the “Lil B Curse” by Revolt on the NBA 2k15 launch party’s red carpet.

“Curse? I keep hearing it. Every time I saw it on Twitter and Instagram, it’s this Lil B stuff coming up. I don’t have no problem with Lil B,” said Durant. “He’s got so many fans, it’s starting to get on my nerves… Just to get them people away – me and Lil B are cool.”

Tech N9ne: Jay Rock Is No Longer On Strange Music Roster

(AllHipHop News) The Strange Music roster no longer includes California emcee Jay Rock. The head of Strange, rapper Tech N9ne, told Montreality that Rock is currently 100% with Top Dawg Entertainment.

“Jay Rock is coming out on TDE. He is now fully TDE,” revealed Tech. “We did what we were supposed to do for him, for the homie, and pushed him forward to get his album out, because Warner Brothers wasn’t doing it. We fulfilled that, and now Top Dawg are able to take Jay Rock and do what he’s supposed to do on his next album.”

Jay Rock’s 2011 album Follow Me Home was released via Strange and Top Dawg. He is said to be currently working on his next LP. TDE’s CEO Anthony Tiffith recently tweeted that Rock and fellow Black Hippy member Kendrick Lamar’s respective projects are “coming soon.”

Despite losing Rock from the team, Tech and Strange still had another great financial year. The Kansas City native pulled in a reported $8 million over a 12 month period. He landed at #16 on the this year’s Forbes Hip Hop Cash Kings list. That is up two spots from 2013 where he was ranked #18 with $7.5 million.
