Raekwon’s tribute song to TI/Hustle Gang Doe B
Yesterday wiped out my entire Doe B rumor that I had put together. There was a main suspect that was captured. Do you see him?
Notice the similarities with the eye patch? I’m being told that there was a beef between this dude and Doe B in part due to the fact that Doe had to wear an eye patch like this dude. They are both from Montgomery, AL. Now, I don’t think that was all there was, but I am told it was partially this. And this dude is the one that allegedly robbed Doe of his eye patch earlier in the year. So silly. What lead it to murder seems to be another story.
I am told that Doe was NOT performing at The Rose, as reported. He was in his hometown chilling with the people. The girl that was killed, Kimbrele Johnson, was just there to celebrate her 21st birthday. But, I am told that the alleged killer Jason McWilliams and Doe B got into an argument earlier in the night and a shoving match (or something else) ensued. The dude left the club with others and they came back and shot up the club, killing Doe and Kim.
Lastly, I heard that there have been roughly 4 new arrests made. I just cannot find any information on it.
I heard there’s more to this than that…but that’s all for now.
Here is the previous rumor that was wiped out.
As far as we know, Doe B’s killer is still out on the loose. The killer has not been captured as of the time of this writing. We, however, are getting a lot of rumory information in high doses. Some of this will be published and some of it won’t. This is what we can say. First of all RIP Doe B. Secondly, its been stated that Doe B’s death has NOTHING to do with Hip-Hop culture. “It was some street sh*t,” one source told AllHipHop.com. That’s pretty clear since somebody killed a celebrity rapper, a 21-year-old girl and shot 6 other people. But, from what I heard the killer is in hiding at the moment. Also, EVERYBODY in Alabama knows who did it.
Why?
This beef has been an ongoing thing with Doe B and the alleged killer. Apparently, there have been “situations” all year. If you google hard enough or know the right people, you will find that Doe was robbed of his eye patch earlier this year. Anyway, I was told that the guy should just turn himself in or make a run to the border. If “the streets” get him, he’s dead.
There is some positive news on the way as well. Stay tuned.
People might give you the side eye for having a flip phone but the good news is, you probably won’t get robbed for it. Kevin Cook, a New York City resident, was mugged at gunpoint in Central Park Saturday but the robber was so upset that Cook had a flip phone that he gave it back, reports the New York Post.
“Once he saw my phone, he looked at it like, ‘What the f–k is this?’ and gave it back to me,” Cook told the Post. He said his phone was a third generation Windows phone.
Around 40 percent of robberies in major American cities involve cell phones, the Federal Communications Commission reports. Many thieves in the U.S. and internationally go for iPhones to resell them. Reselling stolen cell phones is a $30 billion underground business, and Apple’s phones are most sought-after, especially in New York.
Bill de Blasio said he will urge smartphone manufacturers make kill switches that would render phones unusable after they’re stolen. There’s been talk about kill switches for a while now. Hopefully they really go into affect, that would serve a low down crook right.
(AllHipHop News) Ashanti was the unsuspecting (and non-participating) bystander in the volatile beef between G-Unit and Murder Inc in the early 2000’s which led to her being dissed in numerous songs. However, Ashanti explains that there is no current disagreement with 50 Cent and Nelly is the reason for it.
While on DJ Whoo Kid’s Hollywood Shuffle, Ashanti explained how former boyfriend Nelly urged 50 Cent directly to apologize to Ashanti at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas:
I would see 50 every now and again and I never had a problem. He didn’t seem like he had a problem. But, the first time we kind of ‘spoke’ so to speak, we were at the VMA’s in Vegas and Nelly was like ‘yo, you need to apologize to my girl.’ We were in front of everybody and you know, 50 has a personality, he was like ‘Ashanti I’m sorry! I’m sorry, Ashanti!’
Ashanti is preparing to release her fifth studio album BraveHeart on Februray 18th.

Well, Drake should know better. You can’t “sample” no old school rapper and not give him a shout out. Well, Rappin 4 Tay says that Drake took bits and pieces of his hit song and didn’t pay homage. Tay dropped a classic jam in the mid-90’s called “Playaz Club” and that is the song that people most associate with him. So, its understandable why he would feel this way and yet, I’m not sure how important this is in the grand scheme of things. Anyway, the Bay seems to hate Drake in general.
Check out how it breaks down.

(AllHipHop News) Music piracy has grown from a dirty ignored by the music industry at large, to the top agenda of the RIAA to an engrained part of music consumption. While Macklemore and Ryan Lewis might have been the most streamed rap act on Spotify in 2013, Kanye West holds the crown for the most pirated rapper of 2013.
According to music trend analysis database Musicmetric, Kanye West’s music was pirated over 3.2 million times on file sharing BitTorrent. The race was close with Eminem (#2) being pirated 3.18 million times, Jay Z (#3) being pirated 3.17 million times and Drake (tied with Pitbull for #4) being pirated 3.14 million times. Bruno Mars was the overall most pirated artist on BitTorrent at 5.78 million downloads with Rihanna with 5.41 million downloads at #2.
The effects of music piracy on major artists varies. Kanye West is the only rapper in the Top 5 of most pirated to have released an album this year and not go platinum. However, Beyonce’s latest self-titled album was illegally pirated over 240,000 times on BitTorrent in the first 10 days of its release. Concurrently, the album sold over 990,000 copies.

(AllHipHop News) Beyoncé is catching heat for including audio from the 1986 Challenger Space Shuttle disaster in her song “XO.” NASA astronauts and their families call the singer’s decision to sample NASA public affairs officer Steve Nesbitt voice on the track disappointing and insensitive.
“We were disappointed to learn that an audio clip from the day we lost our heroic Challenger crew was used in the song ‘XO’,” June Scobee Rodgers, widow of Challenger Commander Dick Scobee, told ABC News. “The moment included in this song is an emotionally difficult one for the Challenger families, colleagues and friends.”
“For the words to be used in the video is simply insensitive, at the very least,” added retired astronaut Clayton Anderson.
Other people affiliated with NASA have also expressed dismay at what they see is the use of a tragic event to sell music. Former NASA employee and founder of NASAWatch.com Keith Cowing is calling for Beyoncé to remove the audio from the song.
Beyoncé issued a statement to ABC News about the controversy:
My heart goes out to the families of those lost in the Challenger disaster. The song ‘XO’ was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen, so love and appreciate every minute that you have with those who mean the most to you… The songwriters included the audio in tribute to the unselfish work of the Challenger crew with hope that they will never be forgotten.
The Space Shuttle Challenger exploded moments after taking off from the Kennedy Space Center on January 28, 1986. The event was shown live on television and many schools screened the broadcast because Christa McAuliffe was set to become “the first teacher in space.” McAuliffe and the six other crew members all died from the explosion.
