I refuse to believe that Jay Z and Beyonce are having any marital issues. I don’t know why, but I just cannot believe there is trouble in paradise. But, these tabloids know more than Hip-Hop sites! Anyway, they seem to have some insider info that suggests that CHRIS MARTIN of Coldplay fame got up with Rihanna to talk about Jay Z. Sound fishy? The story goes on to say that they were very concerned about her, particularly in the aftermath of the Solange situation. Here is what they are saying over at The Independent.
Rihanna and Chris Martin are reportedly concerned about their mutual friend Jay Z.
The rumour mill went into over drive last week when photos of the pair dining together surfaced, prompting many to wonder if the meal was a romantic one.
But sources close to the musical duo say that in actual fact, Chris and Rihanna met up for crisis talks regarding Jay.
“Rihanna and Chris met up for dinner because they are worried about Jay. Apparently he hasn’t been in touch lately, ever since his marriage problems surfaced,” an insider divulged to British magazine Grazia.
Since footage was leaked of Solange Knowles, younger sister of Jay’s wife Beyoncé, attacking Jay in an elevator, the power couple have had to face continuous questions about the state of their marriage.
Rihanna, 26, collaborated with Chris on her 2012 smash hit Princess of China, though they’re not known to share a particularly close friendship, so photos of the pair raised eyebrows.
But the source explains the two music stars hatched a plan to offer their support to Jay, who’s had a rough time of it lately.
“Jay is such a big part of both of their lives, and they want to know that they are there for him. Especially given what Chris has been going through. He seems keen to offer any help her can,” the source added.Chris has also had a tough time in love recently, after it was announced he had “consciously uncoupled” from wife Gwyneth Paltrow earlier this year.
Reports of affairs and a love child continue to surround Jay and Beyoncé, but the pair are putting on a united front. They tied the knot in 2008 and are proud parents to two-year old Blue Ivy. Beyoncé shared a series of cute snaps of Jay and Blue over the weekend to celebrate Father’s Day.

We know Tip is going through some things in his marriage, but he may be trying to send his wife a strong message if these rumors are true. Tip recently defended his family’s honor against the horror of Azealia Banks. That’s old news (last week). This week, there are renewed rumors that Tip is dating the Puerto Rican super MILF, Jennifer Lopez. Here is what Star Magazine is reporting:
“…the 44-year-old has been telling friends that her new romance [with T.I] has been a ‘godsend.”
“T.I. thinks she’s the complete package,” gushes the source. “No one would be surprised if they became official sooner rather than later.”
“They have a genuine connection,” dishes a pal.”
I don’t know about this one. I mean, Tiny and T.I. seem to be made for each other. I know J. Lo is super fine, but I think Tip will realize it is absolutely “cheaper to keep her.” Sounds like just some talk to me.

Well, its official Bow Wow is no more! Bow Wow is dead and he now will go by his birth name Shad Moss. I guess that name is pretty old and played out so shout out to him for growing up. More artists should try it.
Here is what he had to say:

Anyway, we only have a few more days until Bow Wow is gone and we’ll succumb to calling Bow Weezy by his real name. If I call him Bow Wow, he’ll look at me something like this:

So, NO…Shad Moss is very alive, but Bow Wow’s days are numbered!

(AllHipHop News) People are still attempting to wrap their heads around the fact that Angie Martinez will no longer be on Hot 97. In an interview two days after announcing her resignation on Twitter and Instagram, Angie Martinez explains why she left Hot 97 for its biggest competitor.
Angie Martinez does not start her new show on Power 105.1 and Miami’s The Beat until July. However, according to Martinez in an interview with Billboard, her move from the station she’s worked at for over 20 years was based on her “growth potential”:
The thing is about the move – it’s not just going down the dial. It’s about joining a team and a company that really offers me all kinds of growth potential.
Martinez says her departure was amicable, but states she “had to take my emotion out of it” when deciding to leave. Her former colleague Cipha Sounds was announced today (June 23rd) as the replacement for her 3 P.M. slot.
(AllHipHop News) Ice T has not released a body of music in eight years, but his rock/rap hybrid group Body Count is preparing to release their fifth album later this year. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with AllHipHop Ice T explains the concepts of the new album, why only white people were murdered in the band’s latest video “Talk Sh*t, Get Shot” and more.
Last month, Body Count and Ice T released the music video for their single “Talk Sh*t, Get Shot” and received large amount of criticism for the video being that only white people were shot. According to T, the race of the victims in the videos were purely the director’s vision and not his or the group’s:
The video director only brought white people for us to shoot. I didn’t direct that video. So the guy, Frank, he brought his friends. People were lining up to get killed. So we snatched the Black guy. But, I didn’t say ‘I want to shoot an Asian and a Mexican. That, people overintellectualized the music.
The group has a history of controversial music, none more culturally abrasive than 1992’s “Cop Killer”. According to T, the world that Body Count creates in their music is not always identical to reality:
Body Count is intentionally hyper-violent, hyper-sexual Rock-N-Roll. I call it Grindhouse music. It’s like the movie Machete or something. It’s over the top. So, in the world of Body Count, I can reach through a phone and snatch somebody. The bloggers get shot..and the cops get killed. It doesn’t really happen in real life, but that’s a part of the artform.

(AllHipHop News) At this point in time, Ice Cube’s legacy is half-music and half-acting with a few classics under his belt. During an EXCLUSIVE interview with AllHipHop’s Jake Crates, Cube explains his interest in doing a remake or sequel to the seminal film Boyz N The Hood.
In the 1991 film directed by John Singleton, Cube played Darrin “Doughboy” Baker. According to Cube, his interest in doing a sequel is contingent on the quality of the script:
I would definitely consider it. If someone had a great script of a great idea to put it together, I would definitely be open to it. I think there is always room for those types of things, when they are done right. You know… I think it’s an interesting concept, yea I’d be open to it.
Cube and Dr. Dre recently revealed the actors whom will depict them in the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton. John Singleton is currently working on an upcoming, untitled Tupac biopic.
