These rappers never learn. As you know, Superhead made an attempted etherization on Yung Berg and now she’s running around with SB? She has a book celebrating the 10th year anniversary of her Vixen book. And now, he’s a chapter in the next one. GREAT.

Statik Selektah is a man whose greatest talent could be combining a wide variety of talents. Whether it’s an old school 60’s singer with a 90’s style rapper with a sample flip or new generation stars Joey Bada$$ with golden era vets Raekwon and Black Thought, Statik is
The release concert for his album Extended Play was no different with performances from Termanology, Bun B, Sean Price, Young Dirty Bastard, , Troy Ave, Flatbush Zombies, Push Montana, Black Thought as well as Joey Bada$$ and the Pro Era.
One of the most interesting parts of the show was 90’s rapper Nine surprise performance. During it the gravely voiced Bronx native rapped over DMX’s “Get At Me Dog” and addressed the many comparisons between himself and Dark Man X. While the crowd seemed unimpressed by the barrage of raspy vitriol spat at Earl Simmons, Nine went as far as to attest “I’m responsible for 70% of his flow.” He ultimately ended his set by proclaiming “I’m doing this to prove a point, I don’t sound like him.”
The show was a mixture of amateur sound mixups (Statik yelled for higher mic volume at least 5 times) and pure energy performances. Flatbush Zombies had the crowd in the palm of their hands with raucous performances of crowd favorites especially the latest release “Palm Trees”. Meechy Darko’s animated stage presence was so enthralling that one point he yelled “pass that sh*t” in the crowd and was gifted with a rolled blunt. Kickstarter for potheads.
Sean Price and Bun B ran through their extensive discography with veteran like ease and Statik even brought out Old Dirty Bastard and Big Pun’s sons to rock the stage.
Check out the video recap of the entire show below:
Rihanna really don’t play.
As a recent concert, she decided to take a stroll down the front row. I guess this is to get up and close and personal and to get the people real wild and randy! Well, she get them all hyped up but somebody seems to take it too far and they get BONGED on the head from RiRi. Watch the video.
Yo. Doesn’t Joseline look like a “slow” Rihanna?

However, ambiguity on when he can start signing players still exists. As of earlier this week, Jay-Z still maintained part ownership in the Brooklyn Nets which prevents him from being able to sign players. In April, Jay-Z announced that his “job as an owner is over”.

I have some very sad news to “report.” If its a rumor, that would be a blessing. But, I think this is true, based on my intel. Lil Snupe was just signed to Meek Mill’s DreamChaser’s Records this year. Now, I am hearing that he has been found dead. I don’t have a lot of details, but I heard he was shot by some haters. But, the young spitter is no longer here and slowing the the RIPs are rolling in.

(AllHipHop News) J. Cole’s celebratory run continues. The North Carolina emcee released his sophomore album Born Sinner on Tuesday (June 18th), and he headed out on his “Dollar and Dream Tour” last week. During his stop at the Irving Plaza in New York City, Cole treated his fans to a special night by bringing out YMCMB’s Drake.
The two young emcees performed their collaboration “In The Morning” off Cole’s Cole World: The Sideline Story. Drake went on to give the crowd a few of his own songs. Drizzy started with So Far Gone’s “Say What’s Real” and then did an a cappella version of “No New Friends”. He finished with his top ten hit “Started From The Bottom.”

(AllHipHop News) If you’ve ever heard a Jay-Z album or been to a Jay-Z show you have experienced the work of audio engineer/DJ Young Guru. The long time music industry insider has also worked with Kanye West, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, T.I., and Talib Kweli.
Guru is also a very hard-core vinyl record collector, and recently the Delaware native took time out of busy schedule to take part in Fuse’s “Crate Diggers” series. In the 13-minute clip, Guru talks about how he organizes his unknown number of vinyls, how he became a crate digger, and his love for Rock & Roll.

(AllHipHop News) Ever since J. Cole decided to push his Born Sinner album release date up a week to challenge Kanye West’s Yeezus on June 18th, many questioned if Young Simba could outsell the Louis Vuitton Don. Well, one day sales predictions are in, and according to Hits Daily Double both emcees will have two of the highest first week numbers of the year.
[ALSO READ: J. Cole: “I worked too hard to come a week later after Kanye West drops an amazing album.”]
The music industry website is predicting that Kanye’s Yeezus will push between 375,000 and 400,000 units this week. That would be second only to Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience which came in at 968,000 first week.
J. Cole numbers won’t be enough to catch Kanye, but HDD is reporting that the Roc Nation rapper will sell enough units to land in the top 5 for the year’s first week sales. Born Sinner is predicted to move between 290,000 and 315,000. That is right behind EDM superstars Daft Punk’s 339,000 for Random Access Memories released in May and at number 4 for 2013.
If the numbers stick this would be nearly a hundred thousand more first week sales for Cole over his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story (218,000). For Kanye it would be close to a one hundred thousand dip since his last solo effort. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy sold 496,000 first week, but it would be Ye’s sixth number one album including Watch The Throne.
Mac Miller’s last album Blue Slide Park debuted at number one with 145,000 copies sold first week, but his latest project Watching Movies With the Sound Off looks to be headed to a number 3 debut with 95,000-100,000 units.
OH SH*T!
I can’t believe this. And yet, I can. In what seems like an endless soap opera, K-Foxx of the Hot97 morning show has been unceremoniously fired. I am not fully aware of the circumstances surrounding the termination, but is ON! Now, we saw on “The Gossip Game,” the reality show she starred on, that she at times clashed with E-Bro, her boss AND co-host. What the hell just happened? On top of that, I am hearing that one of her co-stars on “The Gossip Game” may be her replacement! Now, I have a theory, and I’m not sure how much truth there is to this, but I will say it. I think there may be cause to believe that this is part of a grand plot to get that second season of “The Gossip Game” popping. As far as I know, the show is up in the air for the fall season. Insiders have told me, for it to pop off, some dramatic changes are to occur. This is a dramatic change indeed. AND if somebody from the show replaces K-Foxx. YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DRAMA!
Anyway, K-Foxx has a long and upstanding run in radio, she will be fine and we support her totally. I think its reality being scripted personally.
Isn’t she lovely? Maybe I can convince somebody to let her work at AHH! We’d love that dark chocolate.

Sorry to come off like a gossiping chicken, but this is some exclusive sh*t so credit me please. GRACIAS AND:

Lordie.
I just don’t know what to make of this one. Kanye has been plagued with gay rumors, but if this one is true, it discounts and/or reverses it all! It invalidates it ALL!
There is a rumor that broke today that says Kanye West had a threesome with this person:

and this person:

Are you kidding me? Tracee Ellis Ross and Nia Long? At the same time? Remember they a starred in the Kanye video where he dressed up as Evel Knievel.

It was so funny because Evel sued Kanye for swagger jacking him. LOL!

Oh: this was before Kim and even Amber Rose, according to rumor.

(AllHipHop News) Chief Keef’s legal woes just got bigger as a warrant was just issued for his arrest in Miami.
The rapper was arrested on a pair of misdemeanor marijuana charges as he celebrated his 17th birthday last August.
The rapper was charged and ordered to appear in court on January 23, 2013 but he was already in a Chicago jail for violating his probation.
As long as he stays away from Miami or Miami Beach, Keef may be ok.
According to the report, Keef admitted to having weed on her person when he was apprehended.
“I have weed in my right front pocket,” Keef reportedly said to the arresting officer. “I want to be honest with you, officer.”
The car, A Ferrari, that Keef was in was reported stolen, but he was not charged in the matter. It seems that the claim is the result of a dispute with the rental company and the previous owner of the vehicle.
(AllHipHop News) If the news article’s title is confusing, the story behind it does not help much either. Original members of the legendary group The Pharcyde are in the middle of a legal battle over the misuse of the group’s name.
Romye Robinson (B##### Brown) and Imani Wilcox (Imani) are suing fellow founding members Derrick Stewart (Fatlip) and Trevant Hardson (Slimkid3) in federal court in Los Angeles following an apparent breach in a previous agreement.
According to the lawsuit, Stewart and Hardson have been performing under the Pharcyde name even though both men left the group over 10 years ago and signed a 1997 recording contract which gave Robinson and Wilcox control of “names, likenesses and other identifying material, only in connection with the sale or promotion of recordings recorded under the recording contract as amended.” The lawsuit attests that this transfer of group rights was agreed upon again following The Pharcyde’s brief reunion in 2008.
Since then Stewart and Hardson have been booking shows under The Pharcyde name and allegedly scheduling shows in the same city Robinson and Wilcox were set to perform days before:
“These practices of the defendants have caused a great deal of confusion among consumers, with a likelihood of additional confusion at each stop of the plaintiffs’ tour, and have cost plaintiffs revenue from consumers who might otherwise pay to see a Pharcyde performance, wrongfully believing that the legitimate concerts by plaintiffs will be the same show that just appeared in that city”
Hardson and Stewart are being sued for breach of contract, trademark infringement, violation of right of publicity, unfair competition, unjust enrichment, and injunctive and declaratory relief.
