Damn. Nobody will wife ? I bet they will now. Monica is almost 40 and she has just signed on to write a beast of a book for $12 million on her explicit affair with President Bill Clinton. The National Enquirer broke the news and I bet William Jefferson is sh*tting proverbial bricks. And he did so good at the convention too!
Here is the scoop:
MONICA LEWINSKY is set to reveal shocking new secrets about her affair with ex-President BILL CLINTON in a bombshell $12 million tell-all, sources say. Now 39 and still looking for love, the infamous former White House intern desperately wants vengeance on the man who sullied her name, the sources add. “For years, Monica tried to protect Bill out of a misplaced sense of loyalty,” a close pal told The ENQUIRER. “But she no longer feels that way, and her memoir is his worst nightmare.”
Congrats to you all. Anyway, this is another one for you to figure out. A pioneer rapper, mogul and business man is looking to make the biggest comeback in history. Well, this rapper has more than made his money, set the careers of his kids off and has done incredible things. With the comeback on the horizon, he’s calling in favors from people in the game that can help him get back.
One of those people is Chris Brown. Apparently, Breezy promised to do a feature on the album, but when it came down to doing it, he was nowhere to be found. Its hard to duck people in the game and so his manager was put on the frontline. And that’s what they reported did – FRONTED! Now Breezy has beef with somebody that’s not going to throw bottles. Well, back in the day, this rapper would probably get Breezy beat down.
Maybe Brown will give his new nemesis some ice cream?
UPDATE: According to a more recent tweet by 106 & Park tonight (September 19), the show will not end, but will introduce its new hosts on October 1. The show also plans to pay tribute to hosts, Rocsi Diaz and Terrence J.
(AllHipHop News) After a 12-year stint on BET, the popular “106 & Park” show is reportedly set to end.
The announcement will likely come as a surprise to many, as the show recently launched a search for two new hosts to replace current hosts Rocsi Diaz and Terrence J.
According to Hip Hop Wired, the show made the announcement on Twitter today (September 19) via a message that was later deleted.
“We sadly announce that on September 28th, 2012, we will air our last episode,” the deleted tweet stated. There is no word if the deleted tweet signals a decision to hold off on the announcement for now.
Since 2000, BET’s “106 & Park” has been a mainstay in daily urban entertainment, attracting a mostly teen to young adult audience, and helping to launch the careers of previous hosts, AJ and Free.
RCA Records resident songstress and NYU musical standout Elle Varner is back with a visual for her latest single, “I Don’t Care.”
There’s a nice message here, and Varner has been doing lots of things nicely as of late. Her Perfectly Imperfect debut album is receiving positive play from radio and the critics.

World renowned graffiti artist Futura has showcased his artwork alongside Hip-Hop’s favorite artist of the moment, the late Jean-Michel Basquiat, and has now aligned himself with Hip-Hop’s favorite cognac, Hennessy V.S. The street-art legend has designed a limited edition bottles for the brand, that is adorned with his signature bold and forward-thinking use of color and lines.
With only 200,000 individually numbered bottles released in the U.S., many art collectors and art fans have been showing up and enduring long lines in order to get their bottle autographed by the art legend.
Futura’s latest stop was in Washington D.C., where he hosted a private Hennessy V.S brunch at the trendy Smith Commons. The eccentric artist recently spoke with MTV’s RapFix about his love for all things Hip-Hop and revealed a few of his favorite artists.
“Obviously, we gotta go back some 30 years to the early 80’s when that culture in New York was sort of coming together and we were discovering, you know, the elements of hip hop,” said Futura.
“But, in fact, I predate the words “hip-hop,” it hadn’t been labeled yet, so I’m not as connected to it now as I obviously was back in the day. I like Kendrick Lamar, Dre… I’m still into it. I heard Snoop’s a lion now, he’s not a dog anymore, so you know, everybody’s moving forward doing things, you know, me too. And I do love some Jay-Z. So what can I say? I’m still connected emotionally to hip hop. But not as much of a fanatic about it when I was younger.”
From Swizz Beatz to Jay-Z, many rappers have taken to mentioning their art collections in their music. Futura believes that in the next year or so, street art will explode even more in Hip-Hop.
“I did hear Jay sing about Basquiat which I thought was pretty interesting. Yeah, I mean, I see this decade, we’re actually approaching 2013, so we’re still pretty early in this decade, so I give it another three years to see a lot of these influential individuals in that field maybe even investing in our work. You know it’s one thing to talk about ‘em, it’s another thing to actually buy them and collect them, so let’s see what happens.”
Futura’s limited edition Hennessy bottle retails for $34.
(AllHipHop News) Singer/rapper Wyclef Jean has recently released a new memoir, and in the midst of the book’s promotional tour, he has found himself embroiled in controversy over recent Lauryn Hill allegations.
AllHipHop.com spoke with Jean during an exclusive interview at a signing for his book, Purpose: An Immigrant’s Story, yesterday (September 18) at the 5th Avenue Barnes & Noble bookstore in New York City.
Before the signing event, Jean was eager to address detractors who have questioned the timing of his book’s release, at a time when former Fugees group member, Lauryn Hill, is dealing with significant tax evasion charges from the IRS.
In Purpose, Jean details how, during their meteoric rise as a rapping/singing trio (with group member, Pras), Hill disclosed to him that he was the father of her soon-to-be-born baby. In time, Jean says he found out that her son Zion’s father was actually Rohan Marley, the son of legendary reggae artist, Bob Marley.
“Keep in mind right, everything I told you in the book, someone already knows. So I can’t lie to AllHipHop.com…y’all have pieces of all this information,” said Jean. “[People knew] that, that the first baby, ‘Clef thought that was his baby.’ Remember the cover of The Source, Wyclef’s in the middle and what does it say? – ‘Baby Daddy’ on it.
“When it comes to Lauryn Hill, it’s nothing but love in the context of if she needs something, I’m always a phone call away.”
Jean noted that fans are still relentless when it comes to asking about a possible Fugees reunion. When asked if his recent announcement about the long ago baby incident had all but assured that the group from North Jersey would never perform again, he was willing to offer his thoughts:
“For a Fugees fan that’s asking, ‘Yo when y’all did The Score, man, there were undertones going on’, and we have the puzzle pieces for those fans. I still owe them an explanation. And I feel closure now in a sense of, you know, they can’t be like, ‘Yo, is there going to be another Fugee album.'”
“I don’t want the base of my book to be based on my triangle affair of passion with Lauryn, but it’s cool. If we got to get past that to get to that you read the story of an immigrant, of a kid coming from a hut, and how I made it to America, it’s all part of the book.”
Watch the exclusive video below of Wyclef Jean, as he talks about the book’s timing, what he thinks of Lauryn Hill now, and how The Fugees will fare after his recent revelation:

Nick Cannon is bringing his hit comedy show, “Wild ‘n Out”, back to TV!
Kevin Frazier spoke to Nick about returning to his comedic roots, and Cannon tells us his team of comedians will be crazier and more star studded than ever! In case you missed the early 2000’s, “Wild ‘n Out” puts two teams of comedians, the Red Squad and the Black Squad — both led by a celebrity guest — to pit against each other in a series of “Wild ‘n Out” improv games.
The show went on for four seasons, and the genius of “Wild ‘n Out” gave several prominent comedians their big break.
Who can forget Katt Williams a.k.a. Money Mike?! Kevin Hart, Charlie Murphy, Mike Epps, and even Wayne Brady himself also guest starred on the series. Cannon promises some of the originals comedians will be back (crossing fingers for Kevin Hart, Epps, and Katt), as well as many other new talented faces.
Along with hot comedians, “Wild ‘n Out” featured a special guest/musical artist on each show, including the young Christina Milian (Nick’s ex). Since she most likely won’t appear on the new season, an appearance by his wife, Mariah Carey, would be classic! Can you imagine the shade Mariah would give other contestants?!
As of now, it’s unclear if the show will return to MTV or move to another network. Are you excited for the comeback?!
(AllHipHop News) Not even a Hurricane warning could keep Hip-Hop music’s elite journalists from attending last night’s listening session for West Coast Hip-Hop messiah, Kendrick Lamar. Over 30 music journalists braved the massive, long line outside of Chung King Studios in New York City in the pouring rain and high speed winds, to be one of the first people to hear Lamar’s upcoming album, good kid, M.A.A.d city.
Lamar seemed all the bit of a new artist, displaying signs of nervousness before he began playing a handful of tracks from his highly anticipated album. Dressed comfortably in a black fitted hat and a white short sleeve collard shirt, Lamar began the listening session with “Partynauseous”, featuring mega star Lady Gaga. The rapper did not adhere to the usual listening session protocol, introducing each track or explaining what the tracks mean to him. Instead, Lamar quickly ran through just a few of his songs.
Lamar controlled the session from the comfort of the studio control room, and almost seemed to be hiding out from the legions of media fans in his presence. The second track he played was produced by Hit-Boy and featured an almost jazz sound – much different from the Lady Gaga-assisted track he opened the session with.
On the third track, Lamar brought out the big guns and traded versus with Dr. Dre, who recently hailed Lamar the new “King of the West Coast.” Lamar seems to have bought into his new title and referred to himself as “King Kendrick Lamar” on the track, which was produced by Just Blaze.
Lamar did not play the entire album, omitting fan favorites “Swimming Pool (Drank)” and “The Recipe”. The last and final track Lamar played showcased him teaming up with YMCMB star Drake and featured a sample from Janet Jackson’s####, “Anytime, Anyplace.”
The crowd, which included rappers Pusha T and Fred Da Godson, seemed surprised when Lamar announced that those were the only tracks he was going to play for them. One thing was certain – attendees felt Lamar did a great job of whetting his fans’ appetites for his new album, which will be in stores on October 22 on Interscope Records.
For anyone with a somewhat solid grasp on the career arc of Kanye West, this should at least sound a little familiar. It’s not the first time we’ve heard of him revamping an entire album; Kanye did that for his debut album, and it turned out to be one of the best moves he’s ever made. Kanye’s also familiar with making people wait; throughout the G.O.O.D. Friday releases, he’s at times dropped them so late it could be considered Saturday to some. So Ye’ suddenly post-poning the iTunes version of his latest G.O.O.D. Music creation, Cruel Summer, until late Tuesday afternoon isn’t that big of a deal. As long as the music’s still good, then most of us will tune in. Those who waited to cop the iTunes version indeed got a better-sounding project, but the content – and the overall feeling of déjà vu – is still intact.
The entire album is paced to flow together, but the LP manages to do that well despite five of the tracks being out well before Cruel Summer’s release. From R. Kelly’s teaming with Kanye on “To The World”, to the perfect addition of Ghostface Killah on “New God Flow”, to the seemingly revamped mixing of songs like “Sin City” and “The One”, all of this seems to be in the name of doing something different from the rest of the industry. That thought’s furthered by “Higher”, which features a solid rhyme from Ma$e and an overall infectious sound due to Cocaine 80’s influence. To top it off, Marsha Ambrosius laces the hook for the aforementioned “The One” with relative ease (even if the content is somewhat weird to hear her vocalize), and Raekwon’s verse on “The Morning” is another reason why the Wu-Tang still pose lyrical problems.
The biggest issue with Cruel Summer isn’t that it’s released four days before Fall begins on September 22, or that it’s only 12 songs, or that it officially cosigns Chief Keef into the mainstream market, or even the fact that to get the best-sounding version of the LP you have to cop the iTunes version. Instead, it’s more so the fact that as good as the music is, it still can be considered (sonically) an extension of Kanye’s Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and his joint LP with Jay-Z, Watch The Throne. With the roster that Yeezy has built, it wasn’t far-fetched for some to expect an album of the year candidate, but it is disappointing and ironic that G.O.O.D. Music could only crank out a good LP. This could be one of the few cases where the overproduction pocket that Kanye’s quarterbacked from in the past actually hurts the replay value of Cruel Summer in the end.
With that said, Kanye’s still showing why he’s musically relevant, as he refuses to get stuck in a “box” like others, even at the risk of alienating the few of his fans that think he’s doing too much. If you liked his last two outputs, then chances are that you’ll enjoy this one as well, if not more. Bangers like “Mercy” and “Cold” are still as aggressive as ever, while seemingly everyone on the label has incredible outings whenever they’re featured. Although almost half of the songs here have been heard before, Cruel Summer is still a solid play that accurately displays the potential of the G.O.O.D roster; that’s undeniable from any angle.
Lil Wayne is not gay. Lets be clear. He did kiss a man, which has lead to all sorts of talk. And now there is discussion on why he would – on “Turn On The Lights” remix – rap the lyric: “Tell her I skate/ I ain’t got no worries/ No Frank Ocean, I’m straight.”
Clever lyric or offensive for no reason. I guess it could be both. There is a paradox of Weezy being unworried, and straight aka being cool or OK. Still, the gay community is apparently up in arms over the comments. It harkens to the archaic notion that Hip-Hop is homophobic and stuff when we know that is not the case anymore. Right?
Everybody from Jay-Z to 50 Cent have accepted that Frankie Ocean is a cool addition to their music family. Anyway. What do you think of the lyric?
He better beware…the Pink Mafia is out there. And still making hits.
Someone please revoke Lupe Fiasco’s Twitter privileges. The rapper, who has recently verbally sparred on Twitter with fellow Chicago rapper Chief Keef, is back on his Twitter gangster.
The outspoken rapper has taken aim on comedian D.L. Hughley, who recently criticized the rapper for confessing that he is not going to vote in the 2012 Presidential election.
“He’s bright as hell, but dumb in the ways of the world. Young black men are going to listen to him. They are the ones who have decisions made for them, [decisions] that they are not even involved in, which is silly to me,” said D.L. Hughley to HOT 93.7 in Hartford.
After hearing about the comments, Lupe took to his Twitter account and barraged Hughly’s Twitter with messages challenging him to “put up 50K” for “rural & inner city youth [programs].” Check out Lupe’s tweets below (read from the bottom up):
Do you think Lupe has a point there? Maybe all of these celebrities should put their money where their mouth is! Jay-Z and Beyonce did last night, hosting a fundraiser for Barack Obama that raised $5 million dollars for his campaign.
