A few weeks ago, Game announced that he was going to name his upcoming album, Jesus Piece. Well, in a recent interview with XXL Magazine, Big Sean revealed that he had just recorded a track entitled “Jesus Piece” for his upcoming sophomore album, Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player. The new track features Nas and was produced by No I.D. Check out what Big Sean said about the track below:
“It’s a classic hip-hop song. We don’t just talk about Jesus pieces in general, we talk about Jesus pieces and the impact they had around the time in our life when we got our first Jesus pieces, or when we saw our idols with their Jesus pieces.”
So, did Big Sean steal this idea from Game, who had previously announced that Jesus Piece was going to be the name of his fifth studio album? Can we expect a Game diss towards Big Sean in the near future because of the duplicate name?
Sidenote – what do you think this track is going to sound like?

(AllHipHop News) The personal life of Hip-Hop star Game will hit the small screen this November, during a reality series focused on the rapper’s engagement titled “Marrying The Game.”
The new reality series focuses on Game’s eight-year relationship with fiancée Tiffney Cambridge, who is a 5th grade history teacher.
The couple, who have two children together, allowed cameras to roll during their engagement.
According to a press release for “Marrying The Game,” the engagement becomes complicated as Tiffney juggles her own career, as well as a relationship with Game and the drama that comes with being in love with a superstar Gangster rapper.
“For Tiffney, Jayceon’s actions leave her in a constant struggle wondering if she will have to compromise for the rest of her life with his demanding, lavish and wild career as a rapper,” a press release for the series reads.
“Marrying The Game,” is slated to debut on VH1 on November 19 at 9:30 PM.
(AllHipHop News) Ultimate Rap League (URL) battle rapper DNA has accepted Meek Mill’s challenge to a rap battle through a recent YouTube video.
In the video, which was released on Tuesday (October 9), the self-proclaimed “Get him the f*ck out of here” battle rapper addressed the battle challenge by watching a few minutes of the Meek Mill vs. Nagos’ battle, and pointing out how Mill’s approach to a battle is too outdated for field of battle rap today.
“Your music is fire but bro, in 2012, that type of battling is not going to work with me at all,” said DNA, who has been viewed over one million times on YouTube, spitting powerful punch-lines and fast-flowing freestyles against current King of the Dot champion (and victor over Canibus), Dizaster. “I done battled some of the best competition in the world, so it’s nothing for me jump in the ring with Meek and we can get it on.”
Mill tweeted this past Sunday about his desire to battle a seasoned battle rapper after watching URL’s DNA vs. E. Ness battle, which took place during their Summer Madness 2 event at New York City’s Webster’s Hall. The Maybach Music Group MC went on to boast that he wouldn’t even have to write for the lyrical bout, since he’s had a near perfect record battling on the streets Philadelphia since he was 14 years old.
Tweeted Mill, “I just feel like taking over….. that funny s__t ain’t gone out beat these flows and real s__t! And I ain’t gone write s__t! Lets get it!”
Only time will tell if the former battle rapper and now MMG breakout star will actually meet the URL contender in the ring.

It looks like we officially have another rap beef on our hands. 50 Cent went after French Montana on Twitter yesterday, calling him “weak” and a “h*e” – check out his tweets below:
RELATED: Hip-Hop Rumors: 50 Takes MMG Beef To New Levels! Diddy And Cassie Engaged! Illseed Lashes Back!

You didn’t think Frenchie was just going to sit there and take that, did you? The Bronx-bred rapper shot off insults towards 50 Cent, including calling him a “monkey,” something Rick Ross originated in the heat of his beef with 50 a few years back. Check out French Montana’s tweet below:
Rick Ross even got in on the Twitter beef, tweeting a subliminal tweet towards 50 Cent.
Originally, we reported that the 50 Beef was sparked by a comment French made in Complex Magazine, where he said:
RELATED: Hip-Hop Rumors: French Montana Says Rap Beef Is Dead
“You should avoid beef if you trying to make money. People get scared when you try to beef with people. In general, [even in street s###] nobody want to stand next to you if somebody about to shoot you, unless you have a a big lick. They [used to] do that with 50 because 50 was the bank. They knew he was going to win. People ain’t doing that [anymore] … [The rap game’s not built like that anymore]. No, it’s over for that. It’s gone, big time. They’ll get you out so fast.”
Well, apparently it was another comment about 50’s album sales that made 50 go off and set his targets on Montana. Check out an excerpt from the interview below:
Of course, Ross is on his fifth album,” Montana said, after being asked if Rozay will have a longer run than 50. “And like I said, he’s only getting bigger. This is going to be Ross’ first platinum album. He never went platinum. So when 50 came up, 50 sold 10 million. Then after his first album, he just kept on going down. You think 50 could come out and sell 10 million now?
“I feel like beef hurt him,” he added later. “I feel like it helped Ross unite people. That’s why Maybach Music is one of the biggest labels. It just makes sense.”
Ahh, okay – now I understand why 50 is upset. In the words of French, “It just makes sense” now, right?
Perhaps this new rap beef will reignite 50’s rap prowess, or maybe it will bury him into the rap abyss for good. What do you think?
It was all good just a few weeks ago!
ILLSEED ADDITON: French deleted a real humdinger of a tweet! I think he knew he crossed an invisible line!

That had to sting a bit.

(AllHipHop News) When Birdman signed Orlando rapper Caskey to YMCMB, he loosely described the young Orlando talent as the first “blue-eyed” rapper signed to the label. .
Recently Caskey spoke AllHipHop.com about his new situation at YMCMB, where he explained that as a culture, we are passed the white rapper stigma.
“I try not to have too much care for the white rapper thing, I understand that the stigma has existed in the past, but we are passed that in my eyes,” Caskey told AllHipHop.com. “I understand that the stigma has there culturally and its a big step, and to even Birdman, he called me the first ‘blue eyed’ artist on YMCMB and I know it was a big deal and he wanted to make it right.”
The story of how Caskey signed to Birdman’s imprint is typical for this era of blog friendly rappers who have signed major deals. He worked on getting his word out to the labels via viral videos.
“He [Birdman] stumbled on my video, I wanna say he was with DJ Khaled, and I had a lot of videos online and when he found them, they ended up watching all of my videos in one night. Then he called me the next week,” Caskey revealed.
Although he’s added to an already stacked roster of artists like Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga, DJ Khaled, Bow Wow, Lil Twist and others, Caskey said he has no concerns about making sure his material is heard.
“I don’t have any concerns about that mostly for a two reasons. One – we have a strong team away from the label, with my management and production, and I know with my work ethic, with the resources we are being provided its something we are going to make happen,” the rapper continued. “Its something we live and breathe everyday. Then two – just seeing Birdman and Slim’s passion for my project, I think that gives me a lot of confidence going forward”
In the interim, Caskey is focused on putting together visuals for his already released project No Complaints, which was produced primarily by the Avengerz.
“That was my second mixtape that I was really pushing behind and it was my first tape that was really catered to really treat it like an album with all original material,” Caskey said. “It had a real distinct sound to it and I think with that we had a real clear marketing campaign and how we were going to promote and I think it had the passion in it behind the sound and the passion behind the push to get it out there.”

Daily Word is dedicated to going beyond your circumstance!
Many times, when people aren’t currently living the life they had intended to live, they take it as a sign that the good life may not be for them… They give up and settle for what is, not knowing that the power to change life has always been in their hands! What we all need to realize is
