Wyclef is bearing his soul in his new book, Purpose, which was released yesterday, and has already revealed his “triangle love affair” with Lauryn Hill while he was married.
Wyclef seems to be a serial cheater and has fessed up to cheating on his wife with his manager, Lisa Ellis, two years ago. If you recall, Wyclef Jean’s wife, Claudinette, allegedly hit the roof when she found naked pics of his manager on his phone.
Publicly, Wyclef remained mum about the affair, but Ellis released a statement saying that the photos were from an upcoming art book and denied having an affair with Wyclef. Ellis was fired shortly thereafter. Page Six has an excerpt from Purpose, where Wyclef reveals the infidelity. Check it out below:
“In those years after my father died, like I said, I made many mistakes. The worst of them was to get into a relationship with the woman who was my manager at the time . . . My former manager claimed that the picture was a nude shot taken by a photographer for a book of artistic portraits. I’m pretty sure that book never came out, but I wasn’t going to throw her under the bus publicly, so I didn’t say anything more about it.” Jean also said he didn’t fire Ellis as his manager because his wife, Claudinette, made him. “I did so because of a few bad business decisions on her part, and I also didn’t agree with her management style. Even if those two issues hadn’t been there, my mixing business with pleasure was miserable. Firing her as my manager was the only thing I could do after crossing those lines, because business could not go on as usual between us any longer.”
I wonder how Wyclef’s wife is feeling right about now with all of his confessions of him stepping out on her.

(AllHipHop News) Rappers Dres and Jarobi are planning to release their collaborative album Evitan: Speed of Life this Friday (September 21).
Dres, who was once a member of famed Hip-Hop group Black Sheep, and Jarobi, former member of A Tribe Called Quest, decided to link together to form Evitan, which means “Native” backwards.
The longtime friends decided to work together as Jarobi was producing his own solo EP.
It was then, that A Tribe Called Quest group member Q-Tip suggested that Jarobi form a group with Dres of Black Sheep.
“The stakes are definitely higher now, because we’re wiser, smarter, fathers and we aim to constantly inspire. But we were in control from the very beginning, and free to take it to a whole other level,” Dres told AllHipHop.com in a statement.
The revered rappers have lined up high-profile guest appearances for Speed of Life, which features artists like Sadat X, Craig G., Sandman, Bootsy Collins and Mobb Deep’s Havoc.
Speed of Life delves into politics, and other relevant issues in the 21st century.
“We wanted to make music that was new, different, not the same old story,” Jarobi said of the upcoming release.
Evitan is currently planning a worldwide concert tour in late 2012, that will feature Native Tongue artist Chi Ali, who was recently released from prison after serving 12 years for second degree murder.

Isht has officially hit the fan. Now that the statue of limitations have run out on the 1994 murders of OJ Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ronald Goldman, Kato Kaelin has come forward to say that he lied on the stand. Back in 1995 (before some of you were even born I bet!), OJ Simpson was acquitted of the murders based heavily on the glove not fitting, but also on the testimony of his frequent house guest, Kaelin. Kaelin famously testified and said that OJ did not commit the murders.
Now, Kato has come forward and said that he was “too scared” and “terrified” to tell the truth. Check out what he said below as reported by Cindy Adams from the NY Post.
“The statute of limitations has now passed . . . so I can now say . . . yes, he did it.”
“I was too scared. I was terrified.”
“People hated me. I’ve been spat upon. They threw gum in my coffee.”
Damn, so does that make OJ guilty? Keep in mind that Kato is currently locked behind bars in a Las Vegas prison. OJ is also behind bars, in a different Vegas jail. Do you believe what Kato is saying? Do you think OJ got away with murder?
