Game Set To Premiere “Celebration” Today; Discusses Video

(AllHipHop News) Compton rapper Game has announced he will debut the video for his single “Celebration” today (September 18).

“Celebration,” which features a sample from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s classic track “1st of Tha Month,” is the first single from Game’s upcoming album Jesus Piece and features a video shot by legendary director, Matt Alonzo.

The video for “Celebration” was inspired by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s “Nuthin’ But a G-Thang,” and features Chris Brown, Tyga, Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa.

“Celebration,” which was produced by in-demand producer SAP, also marks the first time these five artists have appeared together on one track.

“I’m a big Bone fan and been thinking about flipping “1st of tha Month” for a while,” Game explained. “‘Celebration'” is that perfect song to close out the summer. When Cool and Dre gave me the SAP [the producer of ‘Celebration’] beat, I started to call on my friends personally to lay verses on the song and make sure it came out the way I envisioned.”

Celebration” will debut on Vevo today at 3:00PM EST.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Amber Rose Tells All “B*tches” To “Stay Away” From Wiz Khalifa!

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa are one step away from a reality show, aren’t they? They put just about everything about their relationship on front street, and I’m not mad at them for it either. Yesterday, Amber tweeted out her bare belly for the world to see.

The two, who many believe are secretly married, sat down for a recent interview with Complex where Amber shoots out a few warning shots urging all “b*tches” to stay away from her man. Check out what she said below:

“He’s so special. These b###### shouldn’t even be around him. They’re not cool enough to be in his presence. It’s like, ew, stay away.”

It seems as if Wiz feels the same way and professes that he doesn’t even look at other women:

“I don’t look at no girls. All I look at is my fiancée,” says Wiz. “I don’t got no reason to look at other girls. It’s weird to some people, but to us it’s the right thing. It’s how much we love each other.”

“Groupies? I don’t do that,” he says with disdain. “My girl said to me, ‘Baby, these b###### don’t even deserve to breathe your air.’

That’s love right there! Those two are perfect for each other.

Hip-Hop Rumors: What Legendary Rapper Is An Alleged Deadbeat Dad?

Well folks? You know the deal. First of all, this could be asked, “What Legendary Rapper Is NOT A deadbeat Daddy?” Well, we all know there are a lot of deadbeats out there. Furthermore, we keep a lot of secrets rappers hold. With that, I cannot tell the name of this legend, because 1) I love his music, which has been giving us classics since the 90’s, 2) He and his crew would probably find me and kill me violently and 3) This just may be a case of the disgruntled baby moms.

With that said, this OG killah is out there in the streets reppin’ the 90’s to the fullest in these modern times. But, a source hit me up and told me that one of his baby moms is out in these streets homeless wit child. Now, the source said he has money (how much is likely in question), but refuses to help this woman out of her condition. Now, according to the source, the baby muva isn’t a bird or anything like that and suggested he just refuses to help. I think there is more to the story. Nevertheless, I only have this one side of the story.

Don’t get yo’ legs broke, Ma.

Soul Legend Get To Re-Claim Rights To Hit Hip-Hop Singles “Whoomp! (There It Is) and “Dazzey Duks”

(AllHipHop News) The rights to two of the best known songs in Hip-Hop history were granted to soul music legend Al Bell, the former head of Stax Records, once home to acts like Otis Redding, The Staple Singers, Isaac Hayes and others.

Last week, a judge granted Al Bell the rights to the hit singles “Whoomp! (There It Is)” by Tag Team and “Dazzey Duks,” by Duice, ending a 10-year battle over the songs.

After Al Bell’s association with Stax Records ended in the mid-1970s, the executive fell on hard times, until he launched Bellmark Records.

Bellmark Records released three hit singles: Tag Team’s “Whoomp! (There It Is),” Duice’s “Dazzey Duks” and Prince’s “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World.”

But Bellmark Records also fell into financial trouble and filed for Chapter 7 in 1997.

DM Records acquired the assets of Bellmark Records and began licensing the two songs in question.

Al Bell disputed the ownership of the songs, claiming his publishing company Alvert Music, which never filed for bankruptcy, owned the rights to  “Whoomp! (There It Is),” “Dazzey Duks.”

A judge sided with Bellmark Records and awarded Al Bell $2.5 million in damages.
