Master P's Daughter Cymphonique New TV Show "How To Rock"

(AllHipHop News) Master P’s Daughter, Cymphonique Miller is set to hit TV screens across the country with a new TV show called “How To Rock,” that is slated to debut February 4th on Nickelodeon.

Cymphonique Miller, now 15, grew up around the entertainment industry being the daughter of Master P. who is largely regarded as one of the most successful businessmen in hip-hop’s history.

Her brother Romeo Miller also had his own Nickelodeon series, “Romeo!,” from 2003 to 2006, to go along with his rap career as Lil’ Romeo.

“I tried everything in my power to stop this girl because this can be a hard, sick business — really easy to get taken advantage of,” Master P told AllHipHop.com. “I guess you can’t hold raw talent back.”

“We’re hoping for great things from Cymphonique — a big, fat, giant hit,” Margie Cohn, Nickelodeon’s president for original programming added. “That’s what I’ve been working for with this series, so why not say it?”

Nickelodeon and its parent company, Viacom, have created a host of new shows similar to “How to Rock,” as ratings have been down over the past quarter.

Philippe Dauman, Viacom’s chief executive even stated that are “more new shows coming to Nickelodeon than we’ve ever had.”

“Next quarter we expect to see stronger ad sales growth because we won’t have that issue,” he added, referring to declining ratings.

“How to Rock,” is produced in association with Alloy Entertainment who also created “Vampire Diaries,” and “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”

Nickelodeon is marketing “How to Rock” with an eight-part video series about Cymphonique Miller.

Also Cymphonique sings a song in the first episode of the program “Only You Can Be You,” which arrived on iTunes now. “How to Rock” Cymphonique poised to be the big pop phenom for 2012.

Love & Hip-Hop's Erica Mena Blasts VH1 Over Kimbella Beef

(AllHipHop News) Model/reality star hopeful Erica Mena has criticized VH1 over her portrayal in the network’s#### series “Love & Hip Hop.”

During episode 6 of the series, newcomer Erica Mena and Kimbella Vanderhee were the angry women, who could not control their tempers.

The two ladies brawled after Vanderhee tossed a champagne glass at Mena, over some off-color comments Mena had made regarding Vanderhee’s modeling career.

Now, Mena is claiming that the fight that aired on last week’s episode of “Love & Hip Hop” has ruined her modeling career.

“My whole image in my career is now affected by this,” she complained to TMZ.com. “I wanted them to pull this clip because I don’t want to show this side of me.”

Erica Mena may have been attacked by Kimbella Vanderhee this time, but her fighting is not new to the Internet.

In April of 2011, Hollywood.tv released footage of Erica Mena attacking her boyfriend Raul Conde of Fat Joe’s Terror Squad.

KANYE WEST AND JAY BAG A COOL $6 MILLI ON CHRISTMAS SHOW!

I know Dubai is poppin’ but I didn’t know they celebrated Christmas there too!

Well they may not, but still somebody managed to pay them a very cool $6 million bucks for a Christmas show. Talk about “sweet baby Jesus!!!” Anyway, the show as actually a few days before Christmas and it was for billionaire Manchester City Football Club owner Sheikh Mansour. Dude is PAID! I’m assuming he’s into that soccer, not something like the NFL. Anyway, KanJay reportedly did WTT songs and a solo set each. Props to Kanye, Jay and the iron sheik.

The Weeknd Prepping "The Trilogy" For Commercial Release In 2012

(AllHipHop News) R&B sensation The Weeknd took to Twitter on Christmas Day to announce that following last week’s release of his third mixtape, Echoes of Silence, he is preparing a commercial release of his three projects as part of his “Balloon Trilogy” in 2012.

He tweeted, “I can’t wait to re-release The Trilogy as a package, re-mastered for you to collect with bonus features…#2012.”

Although it has not been confirmed, it has been suggested that The Weeknd will select a number of songs from House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence, re-master them, and possibly add guests to the songs as well. He also may choose to re-master and re-release all three projects as one full, deluxe package.

Currently, there is no official date for the release of “The Trilogy.”

AHH Stray News: Diddy Sued, New Clipse Album, Lil Wayne, Drake Rumors Cause Melee

(AllHipHop News) Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing a lawsuit that claims a concert goer was hit in the stomach with a microphone during the filming of an episode of “Making The Band.” Kevin Faraday filed the lawsuit claiming he was in the audience at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, while an episode was filming in 2008. Faraday alleges he was hurt by a man running across the stage in-between performances. Combs, Danity Kane, Bad Boy Entertainment and numerous other defendants were named in the legal papers.

Rapper Pusha T announced that he and Malice, will drop a fourth Clipse album, tentatively available for fans in 2013. The announcement was made at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City, ending nearly a four year hiatus.
Pusha T is also planning a solo album in 2012. The album will be the first album since The Clipse’s critically acclaimed release, Til the Casket Drops. According to reports, the name of the new album will be titled As God As My Witness.

Fights broke out Monday night as at least 50 juveniles and young adults were involved in what many new sources are calling a melee at The Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. Police arrested at least nine people for disorderly conduct after a fight in the food court spread throughout the mall. “There were no significant injuries reported, and the mall never shut down,” said Dan Jasper, a mall spokesman, who called the incident “disturbing.” “As a preventive measure we will ramp up security even more this week to make sure it doesn’t happen again.” At one point during the melee at least 30 police officers were on the scene to respond. Some witnesses told WCCO the fights began after rumors that rappers Lil’ Wayne and Drake were visiting the mall. The mall’s Twitter account responded to a question stating, “Drake is not here.”

Could 2012 Be Lil Kim’s Year???

We wonder how many people actually believe that it will be. Either way, the Queen Bee took to Twitter last night to reveal two things: one is the picture you see below (umm, ok), and the second is that she was in the studio with 50 Cent, Floyd Mayweather, and producer Tha Boy Paris.

We already know that Nicki has her sophomore album dropping on Valentine’s Day 2012, and Eve recently declared 2012 The Year of E-V-E. Now, Kim is looking to finally put out some new music will a little help from her “Magic Stick” co-star. Could this further fuel the rumors from this past summer that Kim would be joining G-Unit G-Note?? For one thing, if she stopped focusing on attacking Nicki for a few months, she might be able to create some great music. Only time will tell what Ms. Kim has up her sleeve…
