(AllHipHop News) The family of hip-hop singer Nate Dogg is being sued for hundreds of thousand dollars for medical bills that were never paid.
TMZ.com reports that Nate Dogg moved into a CareMeridian treatment facility in 2008 call shortly after he suffered his second true.
The center, which is dedicated to caring for patients who have suffered traumatic injuries, claims that the singers family never paid the bill.
Nate Dogg allegedly received treatment from 2008 until 2010 and racked up more than $290,000 in medical bills.
According to the lawsuit, Nate Dogg’s manager personally guaranteed CareMeridian reps that the bills would be paid.
A court recently handed down a default judgment, ordering Nate Dogg and his estate to pay $293,512.52 to CareMeridian.
Ja Rule may deliver his best work behind bars. AllHipHop.com sat in an exclusive listening session for Ja Rules new album, Pain Is Love 2, the dark sequel.
“It absolutely matters. It’s a karma thing. It’s an energy thing. That resistance is no longer strong enough (to hold Ja Rule back).”
7 Aurelius (also known as Seven) explains. And it’s a lot.
Right now, towards the end of this session, he’s discussing whether or not 50 Cent’s decline in musical dominance matters to Ja Rule’s latest push.
The artsy, muscular
producer sits in a dimly lit studio in the outermost section of the legendary Quad Studios in Manhattan. His normally eccentric garb is replaced by a Yankee fitted and normal clothing as he talks his friend Ja Rule.

He’s conversing with a small, but influential cadre of journalists and bloggers that have come out on a listening session for Ja, who is presently serving two years on gun charges.
It’s a lot.
The pair have worked together in the past, but have deepened their relationship for the release of Ja’s new album, PIL2 (Pain Is Love 2). The album is a conceptual work that explains the downside of Fame, which is depicted as a woman on the inner album art. “F**k fame,” is a reoccurring, jagged theme.
The album is probably Ja’s most cohesive work to date, and it was recorded up until the day before he was transported to Mid-State Correctional Facility in upstate Oneida, N.Y.
It has not been easy for them to get PIL2 ready for the masses on February 28.
For one, there’s the Rick Ross debacle.
Leveling, Seven says, “A lot of the [artists of note] were not f**king with us. Rick Ross was the only artist that said, “Yeah.”
While Ja and Ross share a profound distaste for 50 Cent, the Miami rapper’s health took a turn for the worst with a pair of back-to-back seizures last year. Otherwise, he would have been the only recognizable name on the album.
“This album is [about] a man that is going to prison, and he’s opening up his soul,” Seven says, making eye contact with all of the writers. And his assessment of PIL2 is dead on. Ja Rule seems to regurgitate just about every emotion he’s felt since his decline in popularity stateside. (Seven makes it clear Rule is still poppin’ in the rest of the world, attributing the downslide to fickle American audiences.)
In the United States, it has been hard to change perception. Swizz B
eatz, T.I. Weird Al Yankovic, and even 50 Cent have sampled Coldplay. But, the alternative rockers would not approve a sample for Ja’s “Spun A Web,” a song on PIL2 that tried to sample “Trouble.” “They turned us down so many times, we stopped asking, “ Seven laments.
“It’s hard to explain the mental state of someone going to jail for two years that’s been a star for 10 years.”
And Seven takes a moment to call out the sheepish masses.
“They can’t wait for [an authority] to say, ‘Its OK to like Ja again.’”
Until then, they believe that Pain Is Love 2 will be received as their most creative offering to date and a springboard for Ja’s post-jail career.
“I’m expecting this album to do very well,” Seven utters confidently. “This album is going to help [Ja] come out with the right perception [from fans] when he gets out of jail.”
Ja Rule expects to come home in February of 2013.
“I’m back where I started / A prisoner of my own success but hardly / Caring enough to know I’m dead without it / No cribs, no cars, no champagne / No bright lights, no b######, no big stage / But f*ck it, I’m in a better place.”

(AllHipHop News) With one middle finger, M.I.A. could end up paying much more for flipping off television viewers tuned in to this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
Sources tell TMZ.com that the rapper stands to pay any fines imposed on NBC as a result of her giving sports fans the finger while taking the stage with Madonna and Nicki Minaj during the halftime show. M.I.A. was on hand during Madonna’s set to perform her part of the Material Girl’s new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin’.”
In light of surprising performances in years past, the NFL protected itself against future harm by having M.I.A. and others sign a contract with them for the performance. In the contract, the rapstress agreed to indemnify the NFL for any money it might be forced to pay if the FCC comes down on NBC.
According to TMZ’s sources, “Aside from the fact that the NFL doesn’t want to pay a huge fine, the organization wants to send a message to performers — don’t you dare screw with us.”
News of M.I.A.’s possible fine comes years after CBS drew a $550,000 FCC fine for Janet Jackson’s famous wardrobe malfunction during her halftime show performance at the 2004 Super Bowl. Despite the hefty penalty, the fine was ultimately thrown out by a federal appeals court.
(AllHipHop News) Don Cornelius’ death has been ruled a suicide, according to coroner’s officials.
The ruling was announced Tuesday (February 7) by the agency, which determined the cause of the “Soul Train” creator’s death after conducting an autopsy on Cornelius’ body last Friday. The coroner’s decision is the latest development to occur since Cornelius’ surprising death a week ago. The Associated Press reports that foul play was quickly ruled out by police, who responded to the situation after Cornelius’ son alerted them after receiving a call from his father.
The television host died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head following years of health problems and going through a difficult divorce. On Saturday (February 4), about 100 fans remembered the broadcast pioneer by recreating a “Soul Train” line in Times Square. After 45 minutes of the crowd enjoying and participating in the gathering, authorities arrived to tell everyone to disperse.
As Cornelius’ family continues to mourn his passing, the former DuSable High School student’s son, Tony Cornelius, thanked fans while asking for privacy via a statement released last week.
“We thank all the well-wishers and the fans who have supported the “Soul Train” legacy. Love, Peace and Soul,” the statement said.
At this time, investigators are still awaiting the results of toxicology tests before issuing a final report on Cornelius’ death.

(AllHipHop News) Texas based and Cali bred femcee Snow tha Product has been making some noise in the industry over the past year and half and now she has finally found a label home.
Despite rumors that suggested she may sign somewhere else, Snow the Product has officially decided to call Atlantic Records her home.
While she was quiet about the specifics of her deal, Snow says that the situation is all encompassing and will surely allow her to retain her rights to her brands she worked so hard to develop.
“You know I’ve been in talks with several different labels, but right now I’m feeling like Atlanic definitely is the people that I want to partner up with and I think that with them, I can make sure that my movement is as strong as its ever been,” Snow tha Product told AllHipHop.com
When asked about other rappers that she listened to or that she likes, Snow said that she likes the fact that other female rappers are getting their chance to shine.
“Any female that’s out there doing it right, I actually like, from Kreayshawn, to Azalea Banks to Nicki Minaj to all the OG’s Missy Elliott, Lauren Hill and all the others that came before me,” Snow explained.
Even though many would think that Snow’s fanbase is largely female, the Latina rapper describes her fans as a healthy mix of both males and females.
“Its actually a really good mix of both, like thats the good thing about ‘Holy Sh*t and ‘Drunk Love,’ kind of poppin off at the same time, they both like my soft stuff and my hard core stuff, it gets both sides.” Snow tha Product told AllHipHop.com in an exclusive interview. “Like the females feel like I’m finally representing for them and the dudes like me going hardcore because I don’t talk about sex and I’m like one of the only chicks that does’t use the p-word. Just know that people that like me for my team and my music as opposed to any sexual sh*t.”
Snow tha Product makes her debut performance in New York City at a pre-fashion week at the Sound and Style Event hosted by Reebok and hosted by Simone “Boss Lady” Amelia.

Welcome to the day that will change your life forever!! The day that you will learn how to get everything you desire… Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to the secret of success. There’s a secret that every successful person knows… This secret has been around for many years and is at the core of life and success!
The secret is that whatever you want in life in order to receive it you must first give it! Yup!! That’s it!! That simple!!! If you want to be happy, then make someone else happy… If you want to ease your pain, then help someone ease theirs… Life is reciprocal! What you put in is what you get out! If you are only taking from life, then life will take from you. Get rid of your lack mentality! There is more than enough in this world for everyone, and you truly start to live once you start giving back! Try this: Next time you are in need of something try giving it to someone else, and see how fast it comes back to you. You want love then give love… You’re running low on money then give some away… This never fails and will work every time! Believe in the laws of the universe and do what is right! Give to Get!! It’s the most selfish thing you can possibly do!!

Just one day after Jay-Z’s historic concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City to benefit United Way and his Shawn Carter Foundation, The Daily released an article exposing his lack of financial support for the charity. While Jay-Z earned an estimated $63 million last year, his tax records show that he donated just $6,431 to his own charity in 2010, while Beyonce didn’t donate a dime.
Jay-Z’s long time publicist Jana Fleishman declined to say whether Jay-Z has given any cash to the fund since 2010, but notes that he contributes in other ways.

“Jay, along with his family, provided office support, overhead support, [mother] Mrs. Gloria Carter’s 100% effort and time, computers, FedEx expenses, accounting, and treasury function support. This was at no cost to the charity,” Fleishman said in an e-mail to The Daily.
Still, tax records show the charity had to pay $1,209 for office expenses, $1,401 for telephone, and $4,696 in other expenses in 2010.
Fleishman also said that in 2011 — a year for which tax returns for the charity are not yet available — a Jay-Z performance helped raise $1.25 million for the charity at its Carnival at Pier 54 event.
This is really surprising. Do you think Jay-Z should donate more cash money to his charity?

Last night (February 7) at Gramercy Theatre in New York City, Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone performed the last show on the North American leg of their Bone Thugs-N-Harmony tour.
This was not a show about the “buzz” of an artist or group or even attending the concert as part of a fad or trend. This was a show for real fans of Bone Thugs and the music they’ve been releasing for the past 20 years.
The influence of Bone Thugs’ accomplishments, music, and legacy, was on display for the packed house in the place where Hip-Hop was of course birthed, New York City.
Fan favorites like “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” “1st of Tha Month,” “Crossroads,” “I Tried,” “Days of Our Lives,” “Notorious Thugs,” “Look Into My Eyes,” and many more were performed throughout the night. Wish and Krayzie closed out the show by having all the fans in attendance throw their X’s in the air as the group performed one of their biggest records, “Crossroads.”
AllHipHop.com spoke to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony members, Wish Bone and Krayzie Bone, backstage about their love for New York, as well as the love New York has for them. They also touched on the global appreciation they get from fans, and why they chose to close out the tour in The Big Apple. Check Part 1 of our interview below:

Back in 2010, Emilio Rojas had a buzz similar to the one he currently has, but it inexplicably took a nose dive and the Latin spitter was sent back to the drawing board. Now, among MMG rumors and his usual co-sign from DJ Green Lantern, Emilio once again seems poised to make a breakthrough to listeners everywhere with his latest mixtape, Breaking Point.

Emilio is at his best when he is at his most vulnerable. Honesty is something Hip-Hop fans adore, and Emilio showcases it well. The album opener, “Breaking Point” utilizes the ‘me-against-the-world’ style synths for Emilio to vent (“My Daddy learned she was pregnant and he so angry/ He tried to end it, I’m no stranger to coat hangers”), but he gets more personal on tracks like “S###” and “Take A Good Look Around”. The first explores the hardships and racism suffered by Latin-Americans, and the second goes into detail about his lesbian sister. Emilio speaks about his trials and tribulations with an aggression that’s infectious, and every now and then that carries on to more shallow tracks as well. “Middle Finger” has corky synthesizer work and a Jay-Z sample (“Middle finger to the law”), and no matter how crude “P#### and Cologne” is, it proves to be mildly catchy.
The other half of the album is unorganized and forced, though. It feels that Emilio Rojas has yet to find his lane in the rap game. “Blame Me” has Drake written all over it- from the soft hook, the vocals, the production, to the flow. “I Thought You Knew” sounds like a throwaway Rick Ross track, and tracks like “Classic” and “Realization” are both underwhelming. Very few moments on the project stand out. A song like “Pimpin” will be to your liking one play, but the next will lose your interest very quickly. This is something that plagues the entire mixtape.
Ultimately, the highlights on Breaking Point are not all that spectacular, and the rest of it is very bland. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly where Emilio goes wrong here. It’s obvious he has talent as a rapper, but some of his production choice is questionable, his hooks are sometimes corny, and his identity as an artist has yet to be established. There are lots of negatives in this review but after the first listen, you’ll think to yourself, ‘It wasn’t that bad’- and it’s not. However, Breaking Point has very little replay value. It’s not something you’ll remember in November.
We hear Chris Brown and Rihanna have been spending some quality time together as of late. RumorFix.com is reporting that the two spent five hours holed up in Rihanna’s dressing room during rehearsals for the 2012 Grammy Awards on the Sony lot in Los Angeles. What the two were doing for five hours is still unknown, but source say Chris’ girlfriend Karrueche Tran was nowhere in site – although Chris was accompanied by one of his male friends.
Funny enough, Karrueche tweeted this tweet out last night:
Sorry, Karrueche, with Rihanna back in the picture, I don’t think you will be able to have it all.
Do you think Rihanna and Chris Brown getting back together would be a mistake? These two have a tumultuous history, but that was three years ago, and they both seemed to have grown up a lot since then. If they do, they would definitely be the new Whitney and Bobby. I just hope they don’t end up like them!
