(AllHipHop News) Odd Future group member Tyler the Creator was arrested for vandalism in Los Angeles early this morning (December 22).
Tyler was performing at legendary Los Angeles club The Roxy, where staff accused him of damaging sound equipment on the stage.
Video footage shows the rapper apparently upset at the sound man at the venue.
The 20-year-old rapper can be seen swinging at the unknown individual.
The man avoided Tyler’s swing, but some of the Roxy’s equipment wasn’t so lucky.
Tyler proceeded to kick equipment from the stage as the crowd cheered him on.
The rapper was eventually arrested and charged with vandalism.
Check out some footage of the incident, as well as Tyler ‘s subsequent arrest, below:
(AllHipHop News) Police are seeking an Atlanta rapper in connection with the murder of Slim Dunkin.
Rapper Young Vito is being sought in connection with the shooting death of Slim Dunkin, who was killed in an Atlanta studio last Friday (December 16).

Police are urging the public to help find Young Vito, by calling the tip line or homicide unit at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
The news comes on the eve of Slim Dunkin’s funeral.
The rapper, born Mario Hamilton, will be laid to rest during a lavish ceremony at Berean Christian Church, funded in part by 1017 Brick Squad affiliates Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame.
(AllHipHop News) Carson Daly’s New Years Eve celebration has tapped Drake, The Roots and Cee Lo Green to hit the stage in Times Square to ring in 2012.
The celebration, which will also feature the likes of Tony Bennett, Jessie J. and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actor J.B. Smoove, will compete with several other networks, though few have the Hip-Hop line up the former MTV TRL host boasts.
Demi Lovato is set to host MTV’s “NYE in NYC 2012” with special guests Selena Gomez and Jason Derulo, while Kathy Griffin teams with Anderson Cooper on CNN.
ABC will ring in the New Year with “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012,” which will include Fergie, performances by Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Hot Chelle Rae, LMFAO and Florence + the Machine.
During the telecast Carson Daly will inform viewers of the top five “game changers” of 2011, while NBC News’ Brian Williams will give viewers the year in review for music.
Sheree Whitfield, the hottie from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, made the reality tv hall of fame when she uttered the catch phrase “Who Gon’ Check Me, Boo?” during a heated argument with an event planner last season.
A version of the phrase seemed to make its way onto Jay-Z and Kanye West’s smash album “Watch the Throne”. The song “Who Gon’ Stop Me” sounds eerily close to Sheree’s “Who Gon’ Check Me, Boo?” Hmmm, have Kanye and Jay-Z been watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta in their spare time?
AllHipHop.com’s Seandra Sims played the track for Sheree and got a hilarious reaction from the diva, who admitted that the track sounded similar. Check out the video below to watch Sheree’s reaction.
Somebody get this chick a lawyer quick! She may have some royalties coming her way!
2011’s West Coast MVP Speaks on Project With J. Cole…
In addition to yesterday’s quickie about Kendrick Lamar hooking up with Just Blaze, Dre, and Pete Rock for his album, he also revealed to XXL that he and 2011 Grammy-nominee for Best New Artist, J. Cole, do have a collaboration project in the pipeline:
“We’re still trying to formulate it and sit down in a neutral zone, where either one of us is moving and doing shows, interviews and press all the time. We want to lock ourselves in the studio and make it right. We got songs where we can actually formulate something, but we want it to be right.”
K. Dot is on fire right now, and 2012 is going to be one hell of a year for the Compton MC!
Diddy’s Done Vodka…What’s Next? Tequila!

In a recent interview with AdWeek, Diddy was asked about his future endeavors within the alcohol/beverage industry:
“I have been spending some time in Mexico learning about the art of tequila. I’m a huge tequila fan.”
Patron, Avion, Jose Cuervo, watch your backs! Diddy is coming for you!
Bieber, The Rapper, Strikes Again!
Rumor has it that the Biebs will be doing a fair share of rapping on his next album, which will be more Hip-Hop and Electronic influenced then his past music. Hmmm. OK. Thoughts?
Being in Anthony Hamilton’s presence is an experience. He’s not at all what you might expect from a soul-filled man whose voice seems transported from an era before his time. The Grammy Award winner is a chameleon – morphing from personality to personality during his interview, but in an endearing way that makes him interesting and fun.
The potential impact of his fourth studio album, Back To Love, hasn’t escaped Hamilton, who knows today’s prevailing R&B landscape isn’t filled with much music like his. The imagery and lyrics of the subgenre have been reduced mainly to overt overtures about seduction, sex, and…strippers, and when asked about a recent CNN editorial on the topic, Hamilton gets serious, agreeing with a look that says he will try his hardest to steal back the love via songs like the title track, “Back To Love” and the Babyface-produced(!) “Woo”:
Hamilton is in a good mood while promoting Back To Love, which hit shelves recently to tremendous critical and fan praise. The 16-track work (if you have the full Deluxe Edition) doesn’t veer far from his signature sound and style. Thankfully, the buttery, grainy, gospel- and blues-infused voice is still there (especially on ironic, bluesy songs like “Mad”), along with the familiar focus on topics that real people can relate to – love, loss, and even loving lost. In this clip, he breaks down the album and its themes – then breaks into spontaneous holiday glee! – followed by a defense of…Keri Hilson?:
In Anthony Hamilton’s world, love also translates as a deep appreciation for women (“I like your hair”…”That dress and boot ensemble is working for you…I like that”). He’s playfully flirtatious, as if he knows that women need to be flattered and fawned over, and he tells so on tracks like “Fair In Love” and “Woo.” In recent years, he’s found a love (and musical partner) that fulfills him, added twin babies to his growing family, and is working on a little-known side hustle that he hopes to bring to fruition soon.
Christmas is also around the bend, and Hamilton says he’s looking forward to selling albums and focusing on “the reason for the season” with his loved ones. The singer has never been shy about his greatest love – God – and he doesn’t forget to include some food for the soul on songs like “Pray for Me.” In the clip below, he offers a melodic holiday message for the fans, a little spiritual inspiration, and some details on a community cause that’s near and dear to his heart:
In this hustle and bustle world, where imaginations are at a minimum, and love equals lust, Anthony Hamilton offers a welcome escape – and hopefully, a blueprint for the future of urban love music.

Anthony Hamilton’s Back To Love is available now in stores and on iTunes.
