Trina first addressed the rumors on Twitter, but the Miami native went into further detail about the ordeal in a recent interview.
“Honestly, I’m not thinking about those people. So I don’t understand why anybody would even feel that way or think that, because there’s nothing in the song directed at anybody,” stated Trina.
“Da Baddest B####” goes on to say that she does not need to throw shots at anyone to get attention. She believes her music speaks for itself.
“I don’t take jabs. I don’t do the diss thing. I don’t do the sneaky thing. I’m not a gimmick. I’m a real artist. I’m a real woman,” Trina added. “I’ve been doing this for 14 years, and I don’t need any tricks or trickery around me to put out a great record. This is something I’m known for doing. I guess I get it, because people are always looking for something to talk about, something to make a big deal out of, but for me I could really care less.”
