Brooklyn musician Chase Winters has released a song titled “Do It For The Likes”, featuring Trips Destella, and produced by non-other than himself. The track is accompanied by a new visual featuring a wild party scene, models with tie-dye ski masks, and the artist dancing on top of a sports car. The track is an infectious trap-tinged party song that celebrates the social media world, while satirizing it’s obscenities. The video depicts a world where every action is “liked”, as if reality was a social media platform. It intends to portray the whimsical nature of the social media culture, and serves as a light-hearted introduction to Winters’ foray into rap.

Winters initially saw fame as a viral Russian singer, after having taught himself Russian in just a few years. He gained notoriety covering popular Russian songs, and began making original Russian material, garnering over a million views on one particular video on the Russian equivalent of Facebook, vkontakte, and over 500,000 views on Youtube. The Trinidadian musician cites Fall Out Boy, John Mayer, Kanye West, JAY-Z and Russian star Zemfira as his main influences.

“Do It For The Likes” is the most recent release from the Brooklyn native, and comes fresh off his newest EP A League That Has No Name.  It is available for purchase and streaming across all platforms.
