A&E Set To Air Biographies On The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Kanye West & Chance The Rapper

THERE ARE A LOT OF PROJECTS ABOUT BIGGIE & PAC IN THE WORKS

(AllHipHop News) The A&E cable network is set to highlight the lives of several Hip Hop representatives.

According to Rolling Stone, viewers will be able to watch documentaries about deceased rap icons Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace and Tupac “2Pac” Shakur next month.

Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G. is scheduled to air on June 28 and June 29.

The authorized two-part documentary includes never-before-seen archival footage and B.I.G. audio recordings.

June 29 is also the date A&E will begin the six-part Who Killed Tupac? series.

Civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump will explore Pac’s unsolved killing and its relation to the deaths of slain Black Lives Matter figures Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, and Michael Brown.

Both 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G. are the subjects of several other upcoming projects.

Steve McQueen (12 Years A Slave) is creating a separate authorized doc about Tupac, and the biopic All Eyez On Me will hit theaters on June 16.

Sean “Diddy” Combs recently announced the Can’t Stop Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story documentary which will feature information about Biggie.

The Notorious B.I.G.: One More Chance narrative film is in the works as well.

In addition, there is a forthcoming USA scripted drama titled Unsolved, based on former LAPD Detective Greg Kading’s investigation into to B.I.G. and Pac’s murders.

A&E is also planning features on Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, and Grandmaster Flash as part of the channel’s Biography series.
