Afroman has avoided serving jail time for punching a female concertgoer in the face back in February. Instead, the “Because I Got High” rapper was ordered to pay a $330 fine and attend anger management and impulsive behavior counseling, USA Today reports.
He was reportedly sentenced on a plea of simple assault.

The incident occurred during a performance in Biloxi, MS at a Mardi Gras celebration. The 41-year-old claimed that two women had been dancing on the stage during the show and that a man had been taunting him all night. He said when he was bumped, he thought it was the man who had been being a nuissance. Afroman apologized for his actions via his Facebook page and on TMZ Live.
The victim, Haley Byrd, suffered a concussion.
