(AllHipHop News) The legacy of the late great Notorious B.I.G. is set to lay it graces on the world of film once again, only this time it will be in the form of the sitcom “Think B.I.G.” which is slated to air on TBS.
The scripted series will be loosely based on the lyrics of Biggie, and will follow “the misadventures of an inner-city teen desperately trying to create a better future for his daughter and infant son.”
The comedy is being produced and created by Mass Appeal in partnership with Voletta Wallace for Notorious B.I.G. Inc. and Wayne Barrow of Bystorm Films.
TBS will also soon be airing the Mass Appeal produced show Storyville this fall across digital and social platforms.
“Storyville” is a 10-episode animated series that will highlight outrageous stories from some of the culture’s top celebrities such as The Root’s Questlove.
“”Storyville’ and ‘Think B.I.G.’ speak to the types of projects we will cultivate with Mass Appeal moving forward,” Brett Weitz, executive vice president of original programming for TBS told Variety.
“Mass Appeal is a leader in developing unique stories with diverse voices. There’s no better partner for us to connect with this vibrant, impassioned audience.”
There is currently no set date or trailer available for the Biggie inspired show “Think B.I.G.”
