Corey
Miller, aka
C-Murder was
arrested Friday
in connection with a Jan 12th shooting in a Harvey,
New Orleans nightclub. Witnesses said that the victim,
Steve Thomas, 16, snuck into the Platinum Club with
a fake id and argued with Miller. Miller allegedly pulled
a gun and shot Thomas, who died at the at West Jefferson
Medical Center in New Orleans. 300 people were inside
of the club on the night of the shooting, and several
witnesses identified Miller as the shooter.
C-Murder
was also charged early Friday morning by New Orleans
police in an unrelated incident at the House of Blues.
In that case, he faces charges of criminal trespassing
and disturbing the peace. Miller has a history of trouble
with the law. Last August, a warrant for his arrest
was issued in connection with a shooting at a Baton
Rouge nightclub, in which he allegedly fired a weapon
at a bouncer who refused his entry to a nightclub.
In
August of 1999, Miller and his brother, No Limit rap
mogul Master P, were arrested for having bullet proof
vests.
