Chief Keef’s Los Angeles hologram show was once again shut down due to permit issues with the scheduled venue, the Fonda Theatre. According to Billboard, Keef’s Hologram performance did not last even two songs before being shut down by L.A.P.D. officials. FilmOn.com and Hologram USA owner Aiki David released an official statement on the third shutdown of Chief Keef’s concert stoppage:
“The city of Los Angeles was clearly doing the dirty work of corporate giant AEG by shutting down Chief Keef’s festival. It was shaping up to be a great night at the lot and we had 80,000 fans watching on FilmOn.com. We are so p##### off we are planning to build a permanent venue for hologram concerts next to AEG’s Fonda Theater.”
The concert was officially stopped due to David’s company not acquiring the correct permit to hold the event. FilmOn also did not inform officials in time enough to receive a confirmed approval of the Bang 3 Hologram Fest. This is the third time that Chief Keef’s Hologram concert was shutdown by police officials this, following two canceled concerts that were scheduled in Indiana and Keef’s hometown, Chicago.
