(AllHipHop News) Congratulations are in order for D.R.A.M.
The Recording Industry Association of America has announced the singer-rapper’s single “Broccoli” featuring Lil Yachty is now certified 4-time platinum.
“Broccoli” was a huge hit for the native Virginian.
It reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
The video for the tune has collected over 177 million plays on YouTube.
“Broccoli” is also up for the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration award at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
D.R.A.M. recently spoke with AllHipHop.com about the moment he found out his smash record was nominated for a Grammy.
“I get a call from my manager Tunde. He’s like, ‘It’s f-cking lit! We’re Grammy f-cking nominated! I’m about to send you this screenshot,'” recalled D.R.A.M. “All of a sudden, I just started jumping on the bed. Oh my god. I can’t… You know what I’m saying? That sh-t was crazy.”
