During his sit down with The Breakfast Club, Diddy finally spoke on the rumors surrounding his alleged confrontation with Drake in a Miami nightclub last year.
“I did not put hands on Drake, and I do not want any problems with Drake,” said Puffy. “He’s putting in his work. I didn’t nothing to Drake. Drake is my friend.”
The Bad Boy Records CEO also addressed the speculation he had issues with Drizzy over the “0 To 100” beat. He claimed the situation was just a misunderstanding. But when Angela Yee asked Puff a follow-up question about the song, he revealed exactly why the track was sent to Drake.
“[I sent the song] for him to ghostwrite for me,” stated Puff.
Drake was caught up in his own “ghostwriting” controversy this summer after Meek Mill accused Atlanta rapper Quentin Miller of writing the verse on “R.I.C.O.” off Dreams Worth More Than Money. Drake has yet to directly respond to the allegations. Puff appeared on Meek’s sophomore album as well.
