DMX’s
Manager, Ray Copeland, was shot in the arm Tuesday night after
departing a studio in Yonkers, NY. After being treated in
a local hospital, Copeland was released. While an official
statement has yet to be released by DMX, anonymous sources
have speculated that the shooting may be a retaliation against
DMX from Ruff Ryders, his former crew. DMX left Ruff Ryders
Entertainment after attempting to gain a part ownership of
the multi-million dollar label. Copeland is actively involved
with forming DMX’s new label, Bloodline Records.
Currently, DMX is in Canada filming movie "Exit Wounds"
and was unavailable for comment.
