(AllHipHop News) The May 5 episode of Saturday Night Live is set to be a two-for-one. Donald Glover will be hosting the show, and his alter-ego Childish Gambino will serve as the musical guest that evening.
Glover took on the role of the iconic film character Lando Calrissian for the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story. The actor is also the creator, writer, director, and star of the FX television series Atlanta.
Gambino is a Grammy-winning Hip Hop artist. His catalog includes the critically acclaimed albums Because the Internet and “Awaken, My Love!”.
Solo is scheduled for release on May 25. The 5/5 SNL show will air one day after Star Wars Day also known as “May The Fourth Be With You.”
