Dr. Dre Reportedly Still In ICU A Week After Suffering Brain Aneurysm

While the N.W.A legend is still in the hospital, signs are apparently looking good.

Unexpected and unfortunate news broke last week that Hip Hop icon Dr. Dre (born Andre Young) was hospitalized for a brain aneurysm on January 5. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is reportedly still in the intensive care unit.

TMZ reports:

Dre’s where he’s been since last Monday — in ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Our sources say doctors continue to do a battery of tests to get to the root problem. Doctors also want him in ICU in case, God forbid, he suffers another aneurysm … if that happens, time would be of the essence.

The celebrity news outlet also detailed alleged information from its sources that claim Dr. Dre is likely to avoid a “bad outcome.” The Aftermath Entertainment head is said to be “resting comfortably” at the moment.

“Thanks to my family, friends, and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!” read a statement on Dr. Dre’s verified Instagram page.
