Power 106’s parent company Emmis Radio filed a breach of contract lawsuit in the attempt to halt Big Boy from taking a job at iHeartMedia’s Real 92.3. L.A. County Superior Court ruled to end a temporary restraining order issued in February. The injunction prevented Big Boy from taking the job until the matter was settled at trial.

J Cruz has been running the morning slot for Power 106 since Big Boy’s departure from the channel. The Cruz Show airs weekdays 5-10 am.
