Hurricane Chris is caught up in some career-ending drama, after he allegedly shot and killed a man in June.

Former rap star Hurricane Chris is facing decades in prison, over a murder last June.

On Thursday (October 22nd) the rapper known for the hit single “A Bay Bay” was officially indicted for second-degree murder.

The rapper is accused of shooting and killing a 32-year-old man named Danzeria Farris Jr. in front of a Texaco in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 19th.

Initial reports suggested Farris was attempting to carjack Hurricane Chris, who was allegedly riding in a stolen 2016 Mercedes-Benz.

Hurricane Chris, born Christopher Dooley Jr., was eventually freed on a $500,000 bond. The rapper addressed the shooting shortly after he was released from custody.

“I was involved in a very unfortunate incident on Friday morning. A very unfortunate incident,” Hurricane Chris said. “I want to thank everybody who’s been praying for the family of the deceased and everybody who’s been praying for my family. After a good thorough investigation, my name will be cleared. Let God work,” Hurricane Chris stated.
