Iggy Azalea Blasts The Austrailian Division Of Her Record Label

THE AUSSIE MC LASHES OUT AT HER RECORD LABEL VIA TWITTER

When it rains it pours, just ask Iggy Azalea. First, her ex-boyfriend claimed he had a sextape of her and then said he was her estranged husband.  Earlier this week, the “Fancy” rapper had a nasty exchange with a paparazzo and wished Ebola on him and then  went back and forth with Snoop Dogg over social media after he deemed her a long lost member of the White Girls cast.

The Grand Hustle rapstress received some good news though when she topped Maxim Australia’s  2014 Hot 100 list but it was  bittersweet. The mag apparently used a photo from a 2011 photo shoot she did for Complex back in 2011 without Iggy’s permission. The 24-year-old posted a series of tweets blasting the Australian division of her record label for selling the three-year-old flicks to Maxim Australia after she had requested that they not be used.

Yesterday, (Oct.16) she posted “stop giving permission on my behalf for magazines to purchase images of me that have already been printed in major publications for covers.”

The femcee did express that she was grateful for the cover but wished that a proper protocol was followed.

“I think it’s awesome anyone would want me on the cover of a magazine, but there’s a right way to make that happen and the Australian label clearly aren’t respecting my wishes.”

She then addressed Maxim Australia saying “thanks for the love and I’m sorry no one asked me. i would have love to have given an interview & done a shoot with u guys.”
