Former Late Night with Jimmy Fallon writers Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin will lead the show. Jaden is set to play Curtis, a “teenager with unpredictable interests and a mysterious income.” Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels will serve as a producer. SNL alum Maya Rudolph is attached as well.
The Hollywood Reporter describes Brothers In Atlanta:
Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddinwill write, executive produce and star in the show, which centers on struggling entertainers and best friends Langston and Moose trying to navigate life in the black Mecca of Atlanta. Riddle will play Langston, an Atlanta native whose DJ career has stalled due to his lack of focus and his get-rich-quick schemes. Salahuddin portrays Moose, a new Atlanta resident and perennial backup singer who dreams of the spotlight, but has a tendency to put his foot in his mouth.
Jaden has not stopped his music career. So far this year, the 16-year-old released the This Is The Album project with Daniel D’artiste and the new solo cut “Offering.”
