Joe Budden is steaming mad over Travis Scott and Playboi Carti’s energetic performance at the Grammys, calling them out on the latest episode of his podcast.
While he loves their song, “Fein“, Budden thinks the duo lacked the decorum required for the prestigious occasion. He also tore into Scott over his stage antics before calling out Carti for wearing a mask.
“What the f### is Travis and his man doing up here?” Budden questioned. “Ay, you two bozos! Get the f### off the stage when n####s got beautiful women and tuxedos on, honestly. You up there smashing s###. You got the nerve.”
Although Budden admitted the set was “on brand,” he deemed it inappropriate for the Grammys.
“All that s### look different when it ain’t a thousand little white kids jumping up and down. When there are grown people here, all that ‘fein, fein, fein,’ that’s what you wanted to win over Killer Mike? You’re fu###n’ stupid!”
Joe Budden left Travis Scott for a moment, pivoting to Carti and clowning him for performing in a mask.
“You bring your man out, Playboi Carti. The crowd just stays silent,” Budden added. “Playboi Carti looked confused like, ‘Y’all don’t know who I am?’ No, n####! You got a f###ing mask on. Who the f### are you under there? You are not at SXSW anymore! We can’t recognize you Bozo’s by the stocking mask you’re wearing. I hate these n####, man, all of ’em!”
