(AllHipHop News) After leading the Billboard 200 for three weeks, Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN continues to be one of the most popular albums in the country.
The Top Dawg Entertainment release debuted at #1 on the chart the week ending April 20.
Since that time, DAMN has yet to fall below #3 on the list.
That means the critically acclaimed album has spent 12 straight weeks in the Top 3.
Since DAMN‘s last week in the lead, eight different artists have topped the Billboard 200.
Lamar first slipped to the third spot (134,000 units) the week ending May 11 when Logic’s Everybody (247,000 units) and Chris Stapleton’s From A Room: Volume 1 (219,000 units) opened at #1 and #2, respectively.
DAMN (56,000 units) currently sits at #3 behind DJ Khaled’s Grateful (70,000 unit) and Calvin Harris’ Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 (68,000 units).
According to Nielsen Music, K. Dot’s fourth studio LP collected the most sales plus streaming units in the first six months of 2017 (1,772,000).
Lamar is followed by Ed Sheeran’s ÷ (1,749,000 units) and Drake’s More Life (1,693,000) in the mid-year report.
