(AllHipHop News) It doesn’t seem like those “ghostwriting” rumors connected to Drake will ever go away.
Last night, the OVO leader served as the host for the 2017 NBA Awards, and of course, he presented jokes for the audience.
However, it was a response from Inside The NBA panelist Kenny Smith that took aim at Drizzy.
“That was great material by Drake. But we had a question. Did he write it?” quipped Smith. “He can’t get on our NBA guys like that and we can’t come back.”
Drake had his chance to clapback at Smith.
“Kenny, somebody just told me about your writing joke backstage. Wise words from the most expendable member of the TNT crew,” said the Toronto native.
It’s been two years since Meek Mill claimed Drake did not write his own lyrics and reference tracks associated with the “Know Yourself” rhymer hit the internet.
The ghostwriting accusations sparked the highly publicized feud between the “R.I.C.O.” collaborators.
