(AllHipHop News) Rapper Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes is convinced she would be alive today if her fatal 2002 car crash had occurred in the U.S. instead of Honduras, according to TV medium Tyler Henry.
The celebrity clairvoyant channeled the spirit of the late TLC star for an emotional reading with her surviving bandmate Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins, and shared a message from Lopes during the session, which was filmed for an upcoming episode of Tyler’s “Hollywood Medium” show.
“She’s having me acknowledge that, if this (accident) had happened in a different country, this (her death) wouldn’t have happened,” Tyler told T-Boz. “(She’s saying), ‘I wouldn’t think that this would happen to me in the (United) States.'”
However, according to Tyler, Lopes was able to see the positive in the accident which claimed her life at the age of 30.
“She’s just happy, from her perspective, that no one else was killed in this incident,” he continued. “She’s more focused on others and their well-being.”
Recalling the details of the tragedy, singer T-Boz responded, “There were eight people in the car. She’s the only one who died. Everybody could’ve (died)… A lot of people got hurt, bad (sic). But she’s the only one who didn’t make it.”
The TLC episode of Hollywood Medium airs in the U.S. on Wednesday (May 24), just over a month before the surviving “No Scrubs” hitmakers release their final, self-titled album.
The TLC project, which was funded by fans on Kickstarter, will be T-Boz and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas’ follow-up to 2002’s 3D, which featured vocals Left Eye had recorded before her untimely passing.
