Master P. Aiming To Take Down Popeyes And McDonald’s With Burger Business

(AllHipHop News) Master P. may just be the next big-time burger mogul, thanks to his new restaurant, Big Poppa Burgers.

The New Orleans-bred businessman’s new establishment specializes in selling big juicy, griddle-crisp burgers smothered with Big Poppa Burger’s secret sauce.

According to Master P., his burgers could be as successful and well known as McDonald’s “Mac Sauce” thanks to his grandfather’s secret recipe.

“That’s my grandfather’s secret. He said ‘son, you know what, when you make it out create this sauce and put it out there,” Master P. revealed. Mcdonald’s got they sauce, this is Big Poppa’s sauce, it’s special.”

Fans of Master P. who saw “I Got The Hook Up 2” will recognize Big Poppa Burgers, which was central to the theme of the flick’s plot denouncing gentrification.

And as always, Master P., real name Percy Miller, is using the business to improve the local communities by giving back a portion of the businesses proceeds.

“The product that we sell, we want to give a percentage back to the New Orleans youth for education,” the No Limit Records founder said. “its about helping those kids. I made it out of the ghetto, I was able to change my life and it’s all about education. I say knowledge is more important than money.”

Big Poppa Burgers is located in the West Bank at 3300 Fourth St. in Harvey, Louisiana.

Master P. said he was about to release a new chicken sandwich as well, which he vows will give Popeyes a run for their money.
