The Houston rap star helped out the Houston Food Bank over the holidays in a major way.
Just as the Thanksgiving holiday was approaching, tragedy struck at the Houston Food Bank.
The non-profit was forced to throw away over 1.8 million pounds of food after a fully stocked refrigerator started leaking ammonia.
Megan Thee Stallion got wind of the disaster and decided to pitch in.
Not only did she buy $15,400 worth of turkeys, but she was on hand to help personally distribute the food.
Over 1,500 people were on hand to receive hot meals for the Thanksgiving holiday thanks to Megan’s donation, along with contributions from Halo and an H-E-B grocery store.
