N.O.R.E. is teaming with syndicated radio show host and former Rap City host DJ Mad Linx to produce a television reality show, NOREality: Independence Day, Season 1.
The show, which is based off of the rapper’s Internet series of videoclips posted on his Myspace page, as well as AllHipHop.com, starts taping this weekend in N.O.R.E.’s new home of Miami, Florida.
Mad Linx has teamed with N.O.R.E. to executive produce the television show, which features N.O.R.E.’s transition from being signed on a major label to being an independent artist in a new state.
N.O.R.E., who turned 30 years-old today (September 6), will celebrate his birthday with a party featuring DJ Envy while the cameras roll.
The rapper, who is currently heading to Washington D.C. to make an appearance on XM Radio, expressed gratitude for his recent appearance on Rap City and commented on making it through another year.
“I don’t feel older, don’t feel wiser, I don’t feel smarter,” N.O.R.E. said. “I just feel normal. I feel like I have a lot to prove, period. I feel like my back is against the wall. I’ma drink it down by myself and relax, get on a plane dolo and do some thinking, maybe ride by the White House. Nothing special, just me, I like me, I love me, I’m the best n***a I ever met. Real talk!”
N.O.R.E. Is currently preparing the release of his latest album Global Warming.
