(AllHipHop News) Four Wild N’ Out castmates came together to present a modern-day take on N.W.A’s 1988 anthem “F-ck Tha Police.” Nick Cannon, the show’s creator, teamed up with battle rap veterans Conceited, Charlie Clips, and Hitman Holla for the record.

Their “F-ck Tha Police Remix” music video arrives at the same time protests have broken out in Sacramento over the fatal shooting of Stephon Clark. An autopsy showed the 22-year-old father of two was shot eight times by police, including six times in the back, in his grandmother’s backyard.

Additionally, footage of the final moments of Louisiana resident Alton Sterling’s life was released last week nearly two years after he was killed by two Baton Rouge police officers. The cops were not charged with any crimes, but Officer Blane Salamoni was fired for violating use-of-force policies.

This was not the first time Cannon spoke out about unarmed African-Americans being killed by police officers. In 2016, the San Diego native released a spoken word piece that addressed police brutality as well as poverty, the healthcare system, and the prison industrial system.
