(AllHipHop News) Nicki Minaj fans put out an APB on their favorite artist after the leader of the Barbz’s social media absence. Her online followers have not seen a new post from Nicki since late December.

Rumors began to circulate on why the Young Money star stopped social networking. Pregnancy, surgery, and other theories have all been suggested as reasons for Nicki being AWOL on the internet, but it appears she is just hard at work on her fourth studio album.

TMZ reports sources close to Minaj have confirmed she is leaving Twitter and Instagram alone to focus on her next project. The body of work is being labeled as a “masterpiece.”

Nicki Minaj’s catalog includes numerous hit singles such as “Super Bass,” “Starships,” and “Anaconda.” All three of her studio LPs are certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.

However, the Queens rapper’s album discography has not seen high levels of critical acclaim. Nicki currently has a Metacritic average of 68/100. The Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up reissue has the highest score (72), and the original Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded has the lowest score (60).

Even though Minaj did not release a project in 2017, she did drop several singles and was featured on songs by other artists. The 35-year-old New Yorker appeared on Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish,” Yo Gotti’s “Rack It Up,” Future’s “You da Baddest,” Lil Uzi Vert’s “The Way Life Goes (Remix),” and other songs.
