(AllHipHop News) President Barack Obama will tap the power of Hip-Hop music again this Sunday, during the “Moving America Forward Rally” this Sunday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Roots and popular Power 99FM DJ/TV host DJ Diamond Kuts will perform during President Obama’s rally, which will take place in the park next to Robert Fulton Elementary School.Once the rally is over, Diamond Kuts and The Roots will meet with the President, who is on the campaign trail to rally support for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Joe Sestak and gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorat, who are running in the November 2nd election.The president’s affinity for Hip-Hop music has been widely documented. In addition to meeting with rappers like Master P., Jay-Z & Beyonce, Ludacris, D.M.C., B.o.B. and a host of others, Barak recently admitted to being a fan of artists like Nas and Lil Wayne. “My rap palate has greatly improved,” President Obama told Rolling Stone in a recent interview. “Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I’ve got a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne and some other stuff, but I would not claim to be an expert.”In addition to spinning on Philadelphia’s Power 99FM, DJ Diamond Kuts is a host on BET’s Hip-Hop show, The Deal. The Roots, who hail from Philadelphia, are one of the most respected bands in the world and currently serve as the house band on The Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show. The “Moving America Forward Rally” will take place Sunday (October 10th) at 3:00PM. Robert Fulton Elementary School is located at High St. and Germantown Avenue.
