(AllHipHop News) Erykah Badu is about to drop a mixtape titled But You Caint Use My Phone on November 27. The Queen of Neo-Soul stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about the project and many other topics including her Twitter clash with Azealia Banks, her admiration for Drake, and her ex-boyfriend Jay Electronica’s reluctance to release an official album.

I think if we’re not careful, we let people instigate us into some kind of weird situations. It’s the people around us that are repeating it and retweeting… I didn’t know she was going to read [the tweet]… I was just saying some sh*t. Now I got some hardcore ass b*tch after me.
He’s an awesome human being. I met Drake under some really cool circumstances… This was six years ago. To surprise [my son] Seven, I asked Drake – I didn’t know him – if he would come to Seven’s school. And he did… I really respect Drake for keeping that relationship with Seven… We love Drake, and Drake adores Jay Electronica.
On Jay Electronica’s next album:
Jay don’t need to make an album… He can make one if he wants to, but he don’t need to do that. He’s an amazing emcee. Jay is a person that comes into people’s lives and brings out the best in them… His Eternal Sunshine can last us until 2029. I still haven’t heard anything as good as that.
