Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with another lawsuit, this time from a man who claims the mogul’s bodyguards beat him senseless at a nightclub in Manhattan last June.
According to the $5 million dollar lawsuit, which was filed in New York County Court this week, promoter James Waldon was at The Box on June 1, when he approached Combs to listen to a group he was working with.
Waldon claims that he introduced himself and the two men briefly exchanged greetings.
When Waldon asked Combs to view a performance by a Hip-Hop group, Combs allegedly called his bodyguards, who promptly beat him and threw him out of the club.
Waldon suffered from cuts, bruises and injuries to his teeth and mouth.
Earlier this week, a former consultant for Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment Inc. sued the mogul for $19 million, claiming that he was not fully compensated for recording about 17 minutes of a 1994 performance by Notorious B.I.G which was later released.
Representatives for Combs were not available as of press time.
