Snoop Dogg has signed on to head the American Basketball Association’s (ABA) Red, White and Blue Concert Tour, which kicks off in December.
Starting December 15, Snoop Dogg will hit 40 ABA cities during the tour, which launches in Anderson, Indiana.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to have one of the great legends in rap/hip hop – Snoop Dogg,“ ABA CEO Joe Newman told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “He is a remarkable young man who has accomplished so much in the music and entertainment industry as well as tremendous work with kids.”
Upcoming R&B singer Lamar Robinson will open for Snoop Dogg at each stop of the upcoming tour.
The “Red, White and Blue” represents each conference in the ABA, which is a professional basketball league with teams like First State Fusion, St. Louis Stunners, Texas Tycoons , San Francisco Rumble, the Long Beach Breakers and others.
“We’re very pleased and proud to be associated with him and will make this concert series something very special for our fans,” Newman added.
