Snoop Dogg’s son has abandoned his aspiration to be a super star athlete.
Cordell Broadus, a star football recruit, never showed up when it was time for the UCLA football team to start practice.
“Cordell informed me yesterday that he has decided to pursue other passions in his life – in particular his love of film through his company Film School Productions,” head coach Jim Mora wrote in a statement. “Cordell is an amazing young man with many talents, and we wish him nothing but the best as he continues to pursue his degree at UCLA.”
Snoop Dogg, a huge football fan, brought his son into the world of reality TV that centered on his athletic aspirations. Then Cordell signed a letter of intent to play football at UCLA in February. A total of 20 players from the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL) went on to major college football programs.
