At last night’s 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards (Oct.14), the west coast won big. DJ Mustard took home three awards, including DJ of the Year, MVP of the Year and Producer of the Year. Mustard’s musical better half YG won Track of the Year and Best Collab for Duo or Group for the smash hit “My N***a.” Kendrick Lamar won the Lyricist of the Year category for the second time while his controversial year-old verse on Big Sean’s “Control” earned him the Sweet 16: Best Feature Verse award.
