(AllHipHop News) R&B star Tinashe was set to hit the road this year with Iggy Azalea, but after that tour was pushed back the “2 On” singer linked up with Nicki Minaj for her “The Pinkprint Tour.” Tinashe talked about the switch up during an interview with Hot 97.

“I was initially confirmed to go on tour with Iggy this summer. I was super excited about it. Then she postponed the tour,” explained Tinashe. “We couldn’t do the tour. Unfortunately, we had to part ways. And then after that happened, coincidentally, I got the Nicki Minaj offer.”
Tinashe did connect with Iggy for the song “All Hands On Deck.” The single was released during the height of the “cultural appropriation” criticism directed at Azalea.
“I had the remix with her – there was a lot of backlash which I was expecting, because I knew that she gets a lot of hate via social media. But I’m not typically used to that level of backlash,” she stated. “I had to avoid social media for a couple of days.”
Later in the interview Tinashe was asked whose music she preferred more between Nicki and Iggy. Going off her full discography, Tinashe said she would go with Nicki.
