USHER Reacts To His Super Bowl Performance Being Most-Watched In History

Usher Raymond dazzled millions of television viewers with his 13-minute mid-game set at Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday (February 11). The music icon’s performance in Paradise, Nevada’s Allegiant Stadium now has the distinction of being the most-watched of all time.

The official NFL Media account on X shared some of the viewership statistics from Super Bowl LVIII. According to @NFLMedia, this year’s halftime performance averaged 129.3 million viewers for a new record.

Apple Music, the corporate sponsor for the halftime show, also celebrated the record-breaking accomplishment. USHER reacted to the news by quote-tweeting a Front Office Sports post about the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show being the most-viewed ever.

“Thank U to all 129.3 million of U [folded hands emoji],” the Coming Home album creator wrote on X. That tweet collected more than 100,000 likes on the platform.

USHER’s Coming Home dropped on February 9, two days before Super Bowl LVIII. According to projections, the studio LP will debut inside the Billboard 200’s Top 5 region.

Fans of USHER will have the chance to see him perform live on the Past Present Future tour. The trek kicks off in the 45-year-old Atlanta representative’s hometown on August 16.
