Oakland-based duo
Zion I recently embarked on their first world tour in support of their new album,
True & Livin‘, set for release a spring release.
"We’ve performed around
the world before, but we’ve never had our tour plans so synchronized,"
group member Zion said. "This record is on our newly formed label (Live
Up Records), so we’re doing an international push for this album.”
Zion I will be joined by
Opio (Hieroglyphics) on select West Coast dates, One.Be.Lo on select East Coast
dates, Roosevelt Franklin throughout Europe.
The True & Livin’ World
Tour has stops scheduled in the US, Canada, Germany, Denmark, France, the Netherlands,
Switzerland, the UK.

Livin’ features guest appearances by Talib Kweli, Gift of Gab, Del The
Funky Homosapien, Aesop Rock and social activist Fred Hampton Jr.
