I memorized the wayward expressions
Never look down
Never let you see me down
I memorized the way no directions
Can I come over now
I’d like to stay a little while
I memorized your body exposed
I could f**k you all night long
From a memory alone

I never forget a face
Don’t go plastic on me
Nothing’s set in stone
You’re not dipped in gold
Dipped in gold
You can’t breathe if you’re dipped in gold
You are not on paper
You are not a copy
You’re so, you’re so..so thick, so thick

Michael Brown's Parents: Darren Wilson Knows He Was Wrong (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) One of the key moments that took place during the shooting of Michael Brown was what exactly were his actions after he ran away from Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson’s vehicle. Wilson claims Brown charged at him. Witnesses have stated that the teenager simply turned and put his hands in the air to signal he was surrendering.

Brown’s mother Lesley McSpadden did an interview with Charlie Rose, and she gave her opinion on what she believed took place on that Missouri street on August 9. McSpadden insists her son complied with the instructions given by officer Wilson.

“I believe that [Wilson] asked my son to stop, and I believe that’s what he did. He stopped, and he turned around to get down on his knees like the officer asked him,” said McSpadden. “I believe he was shot close up, and I don’t think my son was lunging at him in any kind of way.”

Both McSpadden and Brown’s father Michael Brown Sr both added they felt Wilson gave inaccurate details about the encounter to cover up his wrongdoing. A grand jury decided not to indict Wilson on any charges related to the shooting of Brown. During an interview with George Stephanopoulos, Wilson expressed that he would not have done anything different in that situation.

“He knows he was wrong for what he done,” stated Brown Sr.

Like he mentioned in the post, Tyler has been a very vocal champion of Slim Shady throughout his career. The “Yonkers” performer called Eminem’s Relapse one of his favorite albums. He even opened for Em at London’s Wembley Stadium in July.

The Detroit emcee has expressed his appreciation for Tyler and OF too. Em spoke about the California collective with MTV’s Sway Calloway in 2011.

“I think that from the stuff that I’ve heard – I haven’t heard a lot from them, I still have to go check out everything that they’re doing, but I’ve heard enough to know that it feels like they’re pushing boundaries and buttons, and that’s definitely one of the things that I’m familiar with, especially when I first came out,” said Em. “I love it. I love the fact that they’re doing that. And the dudes can rhyme.”

Killer Mike Explains Why He Feels "Our Skin Is A Scarlet Letter" (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) The video of Killer Mike’s passionate speech about his reaction to the Ferguson grand jury’s decision to not indict officer Darren Wilson for the death of Michael Brown went viral almost instantly. During the on stage address, the Atlanta rapper shared he is fearful for his children and referred to the current state of social affairs “us against the machine.”

Killer Mike went into further detail about his response to Wilson not facing criminal charges in an interview with Tom Power. The Run The Jewels member shared what happened for him the moment he heard prosecutor Bob McCulloch reveal Wilson will not be arrested. He compared having to speak on the death of Brown with his children to his grandparents having to speak with him on the killing of 14-year-old Emmett Till in 1955.

The creator of the critical acclaimed album R.A.P. Music spoke on the need for racism, poverty, militarization, and the prison-industrial complex to be confronted as well. He also expressed his belief that the African-American community is just as valuable to the American system as any other race and what he sees as being the burden of being Black in this country.

In a portion of the Q&A, Mike said:

We’re not a bad people. We’re the same as any other community. We love one another. We do stupid things. We’re humans. We’re just human beings. To live in a country in which – the legacy is we were brought here. And since we’ve been brought to this country, we’ve been nothing but good for this country. Economically, it was built on the back of slavery. Civil Rights not only helped us, it helped push along women’s rights. It helped open up rights for immigrants that were there. To this day, African-Americans are fighting on behalf of legal and illegal immigrants.

There’s never been a time in American history from the day Crispus Attucks was one of the first person killed in the American Revolutionary War to right now – there’s never been a time in this country that Blacks have not been a positive contribution to this country. Even with that said, our skin is a scarlet letter. And that is just a tremendous burden to have to bear. It adds so much stress and anxiety to your regular life that you’re always tuned into a frequency that you don’t necessarily want to be a part of. It’s paranoia and fear, not only about the general world, but even about the people who run the municipalities that are over your life.

Global Gangster's Jojo Capone Accuses Rick Ross Of Stealing "Hood Billionaire" Title

(AllHipHop News) Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross released his 7th studio album Hood Billionaire this week, but a former associate of Ross is calling out the Miami rapper over the name of his latest LP. Jojo Capone claims Ross stole the title from his Global Gangsters’ song “Hood Billionaires.” The track was released three years ago.

“Rick Ross was eating pears, while Global Gangsters were the original hood billionaires,” states Capone.

Ross and the Global Gangsters CEO have a history together. Capone claimed he was the one that connected Ross with Larry Hoover Jr which helped end the rumors that Hoover Jr had beef with Ross over his 2010 song “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast).” The Teflon Don single featured a reference to Hoover’s father, founder of the Gangster Disciples. It was the GD’s that also reportedly had issues with Ross in 2012.

Alleged members of the gang from around the country posted messages online demanding Ross “check in” and “pay his dues.” Some of the videos featured masked speakers expressing they did not appreciate Ross “perpetuating their lifestyle” in his songs.

While Capone said he made the connect between Ross and Hoover Jr, he also added that he would not get directly involved in squashing the beef between Ross and the Gangster Disciples.

“He put himself in that line of fire, and he’s got to get himself out of it – if he can,” said Jojo in an interview 2012.

Outraged Communities Unify To Boycott Black Friday

The fallout from the slaying of Mike Brown has resulted in a mass boycott of consumer products on the huge shopping day Black Friday.

The boycott is a shift from mass protests that have taken place over the nation in the days after Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson was set free with no indictment for killing Brown.

Now the plan is to continue to march for the end of police brutality, but also to strike from an economic angle.

Below is a statement from the official website of blackoutforhumanrights.com.

Blackout for Human Rights (Blackout) is a network of concerned artists, activists, and citizens who committed their energy and resources to immediately address the staggering level of human rights violations against fellow Americans throughout the United States. We have witnessed enough. An affront to any citizen’s human rights threatens the liberty of all. So, we participate in one of the most time honored American traditions: dissent. We demand an immediate end to the brutal treatment and inhumane killings of our loved ones; the lives of our friends, our parents and our children have value and should be treated with respect. Our right to life is secured not only by our humanity, but is protected by law both federally and internationally by the Constitution of the United States of America and the United Nation’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Protesters Cause Chaos During NYC's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

AllHipHop is on the scene at today’s New York City’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and things are getting ugly. Objects were being thrown off the roof at NYPD officers at 37th street and sixth avenue and police are steadily making arrests. It turns out that this uproar was all planned, according to the New York Post.

Today’s disorderly activities are a continuation of the protests from Monday night (Nov. 24) after people became outraged over the grand jury’s decision to not indict officer Darren Wilson. After protesters were able to march and shut down major New York City roadways like the FDR Drive and the West Side Highway without police interference for two nights in a row, they set sights on today’s parade and were lead by an organizer named Magiq.

“The police aren’t going to arrest us and they are not going to shoot us,” said the 27-year-old Brooklynite to two dozen people in Union Square. “They’re walking right by us now with their heads down and their tails between their legs.”

Through the hashtag, #StopTheParade Magiq was able to gather people and further organize more chaos for today’s festivities.

People are still getting arrested, with six being taken into custody already for throwing the object off of the roof. Watch footage of one of the arrests made today here.

Surveillance Of 12-Year-Old Boy Being Shot By An Officer Released

Surveillance of a 12-year-old boy being shot and killed by a rookie police officer in Cleveland has been released.

Last Saturday (Nov. 22),  a man called 911 to report that someone was waving a gun around scaring people at a playground at the Cudell Recreation Center. He told the 911 dispatcher that the gun was most likely fake, however that tidbit was not told to the responding officers. Rice was playing with an “airsoft” replica toy gun that shoots pellets.

In the video, Rice can be seen pointing the gun at times while pacing the sidewalk. At the 7:10 mark, the police car rapidly pulls up and officer Timothy Loehmann hops out and immediately shoots and kills Rice. Police said that when Loehmann and his partner Frank Garmback were approaching Rice, he began to reach for his toy gun.

The family of the 12-year-old reportedly advocated for the release of this surveillance footage.

A grand jury will decide if the officers will be charged for Rice’s death. Watch the footage below (footage may be disturbing).

5 Reasons To Tell Kids The Truth About Thanksgiving

Every year, family, friends and transverse back and forth across the U.S. and celebrate the glorious holiday called Thanksgiving, which recalls a fond moment where the wondrous Indigenous People of this land ate with the visiting Pilgrims. For the last for years I have been increasingly vocal about my disdain for celebrating such a holiday. Additionally, I’ve been gradually reacquainting my daughter with the truth about the holiday, which yields gut-busting meals and family time with loved ones. Thanksgiving is a fallacy and a fraud as a day of giving thanks and here are 5 Reasons To Tell Kids The Truth About Thanksgiving.

1. The Whole Day Celebrates Genocide

Imagine a holiday that celebrated slavery at the root. How would Black people feel? Children should understand that the result of Europeans coming to this American land resulted in the mass death of another people. Now, Thanksgiving Day, as an event, has no historic link to genocide or massacres, but in a general sense, many regard it as “ThanksTaking Day” or a general “Day of Mourning” for what eventually happened to the Native Americans.

2. Thanksgiving Is Actually Based On A Myth

The early settlers, known as Puritans, never invited this mass of Native Americans for a happy sit down meal. They invited one person – Massasoit, the Wampanoag leader. Now, history is blurry on this, but I’ve read that Massasoit was a pretty smart dude. He came to the Puritan Party with 90 or more of his Native brothers and sisters – most likely for safety. They brought most of the food. It was not some joint harvest. The settlers didn’t even bring any grub. And an encounter of this sort never happened again, history says There was no prayers and there was no “giving thanks” at this time of supposed happy harvest. They never sat down for a happy harvest. It simply never happened.

3. Thanksgiving Is Actually A Holiday About War

The funniest thing is that what we deem Thanksgiving has almost nothing to do with Pilgrims, Puritans or even the Native Americans. The holiday most are acquainted with Thanksgiving was the result of the American Revolution for Independence. In 1777, the war was looking absolutely dismal for the American “rebels.” Eventually “Honest” Abraham Lincoln, president at the time, made a bold Proclamation of a National Day of Thanksgiving in 1863 to boost national morale during the Civil War. It was for a day of prayer and thanksgiving. But, do we really want to be celebrating war as we take time with our families and loved ones? (There are conflicting historical accounts of this. Some reports state that there was an actual Thanksgiving dinner than took place after the massacre of hundreds of Pequot natives.)

Philly's Louie V Gutta Tells How A Random Run-In With Rick Ross Is Helping Him Mend Fences With Meek Mill (Video)
