A few nights ago French Montana celebrated his 30th birthday in style, quite a few celebrity friends showed up, including Tyga and Kim Kardashian.
Once the pics started popping up of the party all over the web, one in particular didn’t look right, someone was missing.
Kimmy posted this picture via Instagram after the party:
Another version of the picture popped up, and it clearly features Kylie’s boo Tyga:
Hmmmm maybe everyone couldn’t fit into the frame on Kim’s phone OR big sister doesn’t approve of he and little sister’s relationship, considering that she and Blac Chyna are good friends…
Nicki Minaj caused a bit of an uproar after she released the animated lyric video for her single “Only,” which has visuals that resemble Nazi imagery. The Queens rapstress has since issued an apology via Twitter saying she “would never condone Nazism” in her art. Now, the director of the video, Jeff Osborne, has confirmed in a statement to Myspace that the video was influenced by Nazism. His statement reads:
“Before I start, be clear that these are my personal views and not the views of Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, or Young Money.
First, I’m not apologizing for my work, nor will I dodge the immediate question. The flags, armbands, and gas mask (and perhaps my use of symmetry?) are all representative of Nazism.
But a majority of the recognizable models/symbols are American: MQ9 Reaper Drone, F22 Raptor, Sidewinder missile, security cameras, M60, SWAT uniform, General’s uniform, the Supreme court, and the Lincoln Memorial. What’s also American is the 1st Amendment, which I’ve unexpectedly succeeded in showing how we willfully squeeze ourselves out of that right every day.
Despite the fact heavy religious and economic themes were glossed over, there’s also Russian T-90 tanks, Belgian FN FAL, German mp5 (not manufactured until 1966), an Italian Ferrari, and a Vatican Pope.
As far as an explanation, I think its actually important to remind younger generations of atrocities that occurred in the past as a way to prevent them from happening in the future. And the most effective way of connecting with people today is through social media and pop culture. So if my work is misinterpreted because it’s not a sappy tearjerker, sorry I’m not sorry. What else is trending?”
We all watched last night (ok maybe not all of us watched) when Soulja Boy decided to change up the plans and wait to move in with girlfriend Nia Riley because of his upcoming tour…sounded like a bunch of bs right?
Well the couple has decided to call it quits and yesterday Soulja Boy’s former…flame Karrine ‘Superhead’ Steffans decided it was the perfect time to post a pic of she and her former friend, headed out for burgers…riiigggghhhhhtttt.
Of course people started to assume that Steffans is the reason behind Soulja and Riley’s breakup, but adamantly denies those accusations and took to Instagram once again to clear her name of any wrongdoing.

Former CNN host and journalist Piers Morgan has created a firestorm of controversy after posting a column for the Daily Mail titled “If Black Americans Want The N-Word To Die, They Will Have To Kill It Themselves” in which he advises that in order to combat racism, African Americans must first eradicate the “N-Word” from their own vocabulary.
Responses have varied from admiration to outrage, resulting in a larger debate about whether simply removing the word will remove the mindset that created it. Given America’s unique history with race, many have called into question whether Piers, who is an English native, truly understands the magnitude of the issue itself.
Standing by his thoughts on the matter, Piers took to his Twitter account to defend his viewpoint asserting that “I don’t recall Martin Luther King Jr. ever using the N-Word.”
Artist John Legend chimed in by addressing Piers directly and adding “If only this entire race of hundreds of millions of diverse people would agree on a vocabulary change, people would treat them better.”

Radio and TV personality Charlamagne The God is loved (and hated) for his unfiltered thoughts and controversial opinions. His antics have helped him not only maintain his spot on Power 105.1’s morning show The Breakfast Club but also helped him earn a residency with MTV2. Besides appearing on Guy Code, which is one of their highest rated original series in network history, he will now be hosting his own show, Uncommon Sense With Charlamagne. The pilot will consist of a panel of comedians debating and wisecracking over social media-inspired news.
The show is being jump started by Rich Korson, who played a major role in putting together Comedy Central shows like The Colbert Report and The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. No word on when this pilot will be debuting.
This isn’t the first time the South Carolina native has had his own pilot on the network. Last year, he hosted Charlamagne & Friends with a panel of journalists and comedians, similar to his new gig.

It’s no secret that Atlanta has been the place where Hip Hop has resided and nurtured over the last 10 years whilst New York struggles to reclaim rights to their proverbial throne. In an industry that is constantly looking for the next best thing, Father and the Awful Records crew are making hits and making moves.
Father kicked the door in this past summer with his bass riddled and hypnotizing hit “Look At Wrist”. It’s the song you just can’t seem to get away from. That fact becoming blatantly apparent during this year’s CMJ Week as Father and Co. performed at every major venue you can imagine.
From ” SOB’s to Webster Hall, Fader Fort and a Mass Appeal Pop Up show, they showed up, turnt up and let New York City know that Awful is here and here to stay.
AllHipHop.com caught up with Father and fellow Awful Records label-mate Abra to discuss their NYC takeover, who’s the best artist out of the crew and exactly what it means to spread the Awful gospel.
Oh and in case you forgot, Young Hot Ebony is available on iTunes NOW! Go get that.
The New York doctor received a plasma transfusion from the second American Ebola patient, Nancy Writebol, on Oct. 25th and underwent plasma and antiviral therapies while being treated.
New York mayor Bill de Blasio called Spencer a hero for volunteering to treat Ebola patients in Guinea, where he contracted the virus.
“He’s a guy who went toward danger, went to where the need was greatest in the whole world. He suffered a lot these past few weeks but he’s come back really strong.”

Since releasing the lyric video for her new single “Only” on Saturday, Nicki Minaj has been bashed because people believe the video has Nazi-like imagery. In the video, the Young Money logo resembles a s####### while the rest of the five-minute clip looks similar to the Third R####.
The Head Barb took to her Twitter to apologize for the offensiveness of the video.
The artist who made the lyric video for “Only” was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called “Metalocalypse” & Sin City.
This isn’t the first time Nicki has received backlash over visuals associated with her music. Back in February, she was slammed for using a famous photo of Malcolm X holding a rifle as the cover art for the song “Lookin Ass N—a.”
“Only” serves as the first single from Nicki’s long awaited third album, The Pinkprint, which drops Dec. 15th.
(AllHipHop News) The reported problems brewing between Troy Ave and ILoveMankonnen have led to all types of speculation including rumors the Brooklyn rapper was involved ILM being assaulted in NYC. Troy stopped by Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning to discuss the alleged beef between the two entertainers.
“Man that’s just like Twitter stuff. Everything is overhyped now,” said Troy. “I don’t know what it was… I never met the dude. I just liked his record, so I remixed it. I do it to everybody’s record.”
ILoveMankonnen’s disapproving tweets about the remixes to his hit song “Tuesday” led to the perceived issues. That same day Troy posted a tweet that read, “#we gon see about thum comments when we see u fat b#tch!”
“I be realizing now that the bigger I get in music that everything gets taken out of context. Even a tweet,” stated the BSB Records emcee. “The internet thugs and the Twitter guys they outnumber the real ones. They can blow something out of proportion and make it look bigger than it is.”
Troy goes on to question how someone that was a former hairdresser can rap about selling drugs. He acknowledged if ILoveMankonnen was involved in dealing narcotics then that is “his prerogative,” but Troy added artists that did not live that lifestyle should not step into his lane of making music about the drug game.
“When I rap about it I give you the good, the bad. I don’t just give you glorified – ‘getting money, getting money,'” Troy explained. “Sometimes people listen to a rapper who talks about all the pros. And then if a kid or somebody that’s influenced by that gets into a jammed up situation they can’t look to their music to show them how to get out of that situation.”
(AllHipHop News) Eminem dropped a new video for the “Shady Cxvpher” featuring Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf, but it was lyrics from Em’s verse that received some negative feedback including a response from Azealia Banks. The “212” rapper apparently had an issue with the Shady Records leader’s lines directed at singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey.
But I may fight for gay rights, especially if the d### is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/Play nice? B***h I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/’Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.
Banks took to Twitter to offer her advise to Del Ray on how to respond to Em.
Banks has been open about addressing other artists throughout her career. Earlier this year she had a public feud with T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris.
Eminem is known for throwing lyrical jabs at pop stars like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, NSYNC, and others. The “Guts Over Fear” emcee has also had issues with other Hip Hop figures such as Canibus, Ja Rule, and Benzino.
The “Shady Cxvpher” video is part of the promotion for the upcoming two-disc Shady Records greatest hits compilation Shady XV. Songs by Em, Bad Meets Evil, Slaughterhouse, D12, 50 Cent, Yelawolf, and Obie Trice are part of the project.
(AllHipHop News) August Alsina dropped by The Breakfast Club to talk about a range of topics. The discussion began with Alsina sharing his thoughts on the dating app Tinder.
“I don’t have a Tinder, but some people around me have Tinders. And I’ve seen Tinder come through,” said August. “It’s just really weird that you sign up to be a w####… I believe that Tinder is for sex and sex only. Tinder is for whoreness and whoreness only.”
The conversation later turned to Alsina’s recent health scare. The performer fainted during a show in New York City in September and had to be hospitalized. Reports at the time suggested that he suffered from a seizure that may have been caused by drug use, but Alsina denies narcotics caused his medical condition.
“I think what happened was, it was a case of me just basically putting other people before myself,” he explained. “Just overworking myself and exhaustion. A lot of people would say, ‘He fell out cause he’s on some coke, or he’s sipping lean.’ It’s like, ‘What are y’all talking about?'”
August also added that not eating played a part in him passing out. According to the singer, he suffered from over ten seizures and was in a coma for three days where he dreamt about speaking with his late brother. Alsina also revealed he spoke with incarcerated MMG rapper Meek Mill about the situation.
“I was talking to Meek, and basically our conversation was sometimes God can find away to sit you down,” August said. “In his case it’s just another form of him having to sit down and rest for a minute. A very f**ked up case, but it all goes together. It’s an opportunity to step back and realize some things.”
(AllHipHop News) Artists are constantly trying to discover ways to market their music and stand out from their peers. R&B star Usher has decided to take it back to childhood days by offering his new single “Clueless” via a cereal box.
The track will be available for download with specially marked Honey Nut Cheerios boxes at Walmart stores. Usher previously worked with the breakfast food brand for a commercial that featured his song “She Came To Give It To You.” The “Clueless” cereal promotion begins today (November 11).
Usher is set to release his next album UR in the near future. The project will be the follow-up to the gold-selling Looking 4 Myself. He is also currently on tour with “No Love” performer August Alsina.
(AllHipHop News) Feuding with Drake may not be the biggest concern for Tyga at the moment. The Young Money artist was pulled over by police officers in South Central Los Angeles on Monday. The rapper was filming a music video for his song “Make It Work” at the time.
According to TMZ, the LAPD has confirmed Tyga was stopped for reckless driving. He was cited with a traffic violation, but his bodyguard was reportedly detained for possession of an unregistered handgun.
News of the incident in L.A broke around the same time it was announced Tyga will be a special guest performer on the Chris Brown/Trey Songz “Between The Sheets Tour.” The trek begins January 28 in Hampton, Virginia.
While we wait on the upcoming compilation album to hit shelves November 24th, Shady Records decide to bless us with a cypher featuring the whole team. Em I see you still got hit, homie.
